Tamass: You would be part of those urging those military to kill unarmed civilians down south more while they spare and help their hausa fulani civilians perpetrate devilish crimes but will come here to remind us that they are not just hausa fulani military. Go away with your hypocricy. How u go kill one's mama, kill his papa, come tell am say u wan take care of am ? In other countries Military defend their citizens but in Nigeria military is a tool by a certain section of the country against another section of the country. 1 Like |

why force parents not to retrieve their wards. This govt must be up to something sinister. Police allowing themselves to be used must be foolish. |

What has illiteracy got to-do with this. When people try to defend and themselves and theirs you call them illiterate. You are the one sounding illiterate here. Benekruku: |

Tamass: The point is this, if truely the military comprise all other religions and tribes, how come they work all for fulani interests ? You heard a victim confess that military led them and abandoned them to their slaughter, military engagements down south against unarmed citizens always take lives without anybody prosecuted. Are you trying to say those devilish crimes were carried out by sane humans comprising christians and southerners ? For your info, personels can be picked from different batallions in the military for an operation, who knows how they pick those to engage Southerners esp Igbos. |

Sleyanya1:Wrong! it only portrays Illiteracy still runs deep in the society. Don't forget, we are in Nigeria where Million woke up one morning and bathed themselves with Salt |

Am shocked here, I mean some fools have calling those protecting their kids illiterates. I am confused now because vaccinations has never been the need of southern Nigeria. Most southerners vaccinate their babies from birth through to 9months and 2yrs. Polio is a case in point. Why does the military want to vaccinate southern kids when those who need these vaccines are up north? |

You are blabbing jazz. Nothing like illiteracy, ignorance or poverty. These children don't have polio, measles or such diseases, there is no epidemic, so why the urge by the military to vaccinate?. Most of these children have been vaccinated before. Take your own children for vaccinations. Viula: |

Groovenaija360: Your question sums it up. I wouldn't allow a soldier who only takes delight in causing pains on others to inject my healthy child for any reason as well. |

Tamass:You're actually the ignorant one oga madam. Who told you they are vaccinating against monkey pox? Where do they get the vaccines? There is no vaccines for monkey pox anywhere in the world. They are only offering free medical care and the truth is that the people don't trust them. The timing is as wrong as jibril |

melejo:Well maybe i was wrong cause the military refuted all claims of engaging in such exercise..but one thing I am sure about is if we dont learn to love one another there is no way we will progress..reflect on that Sir.Peace! |

Sleyanya1:The question is, Was there a vaccination exercise in the first place? the whole thing was a hoax and many fell for it. A lot of people just choose to believe what makes them happy. in this case it plays well for IPOB that initially spread the story that kids where forcefully injected with Monkey pox virus, how ridiculous that sounds. The Small pox vaccine (which is effective for monkey pox) is given to every kid at govt. health centers even in the most rural areas in Nigeria. |

diegwu01: In as much as I'm inclined to agreeing with you , I also think the Government had ignored it's role for sensitization and social awareness. After the Anambra, Abia, Bayelsa episodes, it is expected that they should have addressed the issues , paused the process and debunk the rumours. |
Re: Panic In Eleme As Parents Storm Schools Over Vaccination (Photos) by Viula(m): 6:38pm On Oct 17, 2017 |
shallysgirl:And what is your source of authority that the military is carrying out any vaccination exercise in Rivers state. how can such an exercise takes place without the notice of the state ministry of health. the comissioner of health had stated it clearly that there is nothing of such. by the way when you where running with your kids did you see anyone in military uniform doing any vaccination. that tells you it was only a rumour. its unfortunate that you send all your time watching telemodu and no time to listen to news so why won't you believe any rumour that you hear. |

That's what the head of the school told me.The nurses even droped their phone numbers. Every other story is hearsay. |
