In Islam, polygamy is considered an injunction from the Almighty. It is believed that Allah approves it. Christians think otherwise saying, if God wanted it. He could have created more women for Adam to marry in the beginning.Though, som cristians do practise polygamy.Coming to our generation, Would you give your daughter to a married man?

The question is why question the teachings of another man's God ? you should live your life the best way you can and it really isn't your choice in giving your daughter as you said because your kid is not property

i've seen situations where a woman has got no choice but become a second wife. when she's getting too old and it becomes an embarassment to her parents. such cases, her parents are only happy to give her away as a second wife.

Nah!

No one should settle for 2nd position.
If he cannot have You as First and only, show him the door.

Am not gonna control my daughter life, she do what she wants am only gonna advice her (and on issues like this I will definitely opposed it)
But it is entirely her decision to make. If she wants she can even married a man with eight wives.

@ Topic. We are in the 21st century where children can descide for themselves on whom to be with. so why will some parents still descide for their children? it's kinda primitive.
