Alcohol is totally prohibited in Islam bt d fact remains that we r in a secular society where any body is free to practice any religion. everybody is free to do whatever one wishes to do. I totally support sharia law bt the truth is it can't be practised here in Nigeria. I will rather lyk to go to where the law is been practised. 4 Likes |

So right. Just like a church charging for deliverance and issuing receipt for such, just like a pastor praying for some men and grabbing their penis or is it that of a church where the pastor turned the members to cow when he ordered them to eat grass. I believe It's a combination of the rich, poor, literate, illiterate that made up those church. The OP made sense with his assertions though. Acjohn: |

The core northern Muslims States don't see anything wrong with this kind of law in a secular country like Nigeria but when other States make law against open grazing to also protect their interest, the same Muslims will want to burn down the country, but I blame the governors of the south n north central for lack of courage, foresight n unity of purpose in organising themselves n confronting the negativities of their northern counterparts. 6 Likes |

BabaRamota1980: You may not like beer but I must let you know; it is the healthiest alcohol and designed to be consumed in large quantities. Beer has little alcohol per bottle compared to other alcoholic drinks. If you see people highly intoxicated by beer it could be one or more of; 1. Drinking with an empty stomach. 2. Mixing different types of alcohol with beer. 3. Mixing sugary beverages with beer. 4. Drinking unrefrigerated beer. 5. Taking two many beers at a go (anything without moderation is bad). Beer is good. That's why the Irish never took over the world. 1 Like |

Religion should not interfere with commerce and consumerism. But it seems that Nigerians, living at the Northern Part has made political instruments out of religion and now Northern States are Religious Political Enclaves. This is very dangerous, because it is like giving a nuclear weapon to a terrorist. The Muslims must begin to think of Earth as home, same with Christians. We must work hard to 'make heaven', but must work harder for freedom of enjoyment, sex, beer in this mortal existence. We will never have this particular kind of body again, so I have no idea if these religious people are aware of it. Enjoy your lives, and stop wasting beers. I kind of think, those Hisbah Sharia Police got tipsy from the vapor alone. Cool way to get beer into the brain by breathing. That alone will make them high enough for the next hour's pedophilia which happens to be their signature. 8 Likes |

Islam and Christianity prohibits the consumption of alcohol and any alcoholic drinks. I guess you are a Catholic member that is why it hurts you to see the destruction of alcohol. Bear in my that this product is contraband in the North even if 2% of the Northerners consume it that does not legalize it. |

Another wankfest by southerners on nairaland. Amusingly, a southerner ignored all the social ills in his region to write an essay about the North breaking beer bottles. Talk about obsession, LMAO. They some how believe their opinions means shiiit to northerners The average northerner doesn't even know a hateful bunch like y'all exist so I advise you get something better to do with your lives. |
