10years!!! The most painful aspect of the whole thing is that billions will be budgeted yearly for it yet nothing will be done about it. All that will be done is to pour sand and condemn oil on it and go on air claiming that they reconstructed the road to a world class road!!! 112 Likes 1 Share

In my country, money will be budgeted year in year out. Concessions will be given and cancelled new govt will come and reward the road contract, they will go without finishing the road another govt will come in and the cycle will continue but the road still remain the way it is no change 12 Likes |

From the comments I read in the post,it seems these leadership problems and failures are not peculiar to Nigeria. The only difference is that while the people in other countries will insist that their leaders do what they were elected to or get voted out,Nigerians would rather pray while the leaders are not held accountable. 192 Likes 12 Shares |

I see you brotherly, you even have the guts to appear here despite the failure of you and other Agent Poverty Creation morons and the other Poverty Distribution Programme nonentities. Honestly, you and other greedy nigerians that think about their immediate satisfactions don't deserve a brain-- just head. sarrki: 80 Likes 4 Shares |

As least Nigeria wasn't the worst there but it's only from a Nigerian that you read will anything like prayer and God there. That guy who spoke about elections doesn't know how lucky he is, at least when it gets to election time time they have hope of getting the road fixed, here that's the time you start seeing useless pictures of people buying things in the market or frying akara. The Nigeria that I know that road will never be fixed the will keep awarding contracts to fix the road but it won't be fixed 28 Likes |

whateverkay: This isnt the Biafra thread, sweet-cake.... In Nigeria....a caretaker LG chairman once gave his councilors money to tar one road in each of their villages/wards. All the councilors, except one, chopped the money. 23 Likes 3 Shares |

it would be about 9months for government to set up the committee to access the road whether it is fit for repairs, another 6months for committee to present report, another 8months for government to publish an advert for companies to come and bid. 3months to award contract to the company. 8months to mobilize the company, 2months for company to be on site. about a year before company delivers 60% of project, another 3month delay for government to pay the second part of the mobilization. in all top most 5years or 6years, that's why nature is good to us in Nigeria 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Under the Buhari govt fixing is not part of the options . Garba Shehu will come on air and accuse Loyalist of Goodluck Jonathan of sabotaging the road . Femi Adesina will say the road is technically not In Nigeria but Cameroon. Lai Mohammed will accuse Social Media users of spreading false pictures of the road that qualifies as hate speech. Fashola will claim Jonathan govt didnt save for the repair of the road so he will have to toll the road with PPI before commencing fixing in 2021. National Assembly will summon Inspector General of Police, Chief of Army staff , NURTW ,DG NEMA, Minister of works during the Shagari Govt, DG FERMA and the FRSC to explain what happened to the road . DG FERMA will refuse to appear before the Senate and they will declare a warrant of arrest for the DG. Buhari supporter would claim Buhari is not aware of the road if not he would have acted and the call for the head of a cleaner in the ministry works. The FRSC will comence operation Tyre Dance on all Federal high ways in the country to forestall a break down of law and Order . Buhari will just kuku go to Niger republic and commission a road to their cattle market jeje. One Character called sarrki will just jump from thread to thread shouting we are patriots , we are omoluabi (what ever that means we will never know) 114 Likes 18 Shares |
