I am a very private person. It makes me feel uncomfortable for people to know my personal details. It is uncomfortable for me when people - "aunties" (they are not blood related to me but I call them aunties because they are old enough to be my mother/grandmother), I find it uncomfortable when they ask me what I am doing with my life, school/work wise, when I am getting married and so on.. I feel uncomfortable because I am 100% sure only 1% are asking because they actually care.. the other 99% are just asking to collect gossip OR to compare their/ their children's lives with mine and see who is doing better / or worse |

Since you have knowledge of this, just tell them what they want to hear.. Tell them you are working on a project (dont explain any further). As regards marriage, tell them you will marry next year or a closer date that sounds realistic. Do you understand? |
