This is truly an information age,the of universal freedom, even in the darkest dungeon, people will see the light and will agitate for the rights by whatever means possible. This age is probably the climax of human civilization,a utopia age |

Seun: Oh yes it did achieve the fact that Nigerians are tired of "suffering and smiling" and indeed we can really voice out our concerns even if they don't want to listen! Even the heavens said yes with a beautiful rainbow!

Seun, you of all people should know that Even Nairaland did not get 493357 members a day. Change is a process, slow hard and difficult but it will come, I do not support violence but through Non Violence and worse comes to worse violence, Nigerians will have change. he rally achived a whole new level of awareness, just like you tried to do when you started ur site by inviting and advertising, this rally showed Nigerian Youths and their celebrity idols just as angry as they are saying Enough is Enough, no more passiveness docility and complaining. The Niger Delta started like this no one listened, now after monday if MEND talks, we will have to listen, He who makes nonviolent change impossible makes viloent change inevitable, change will come one way or the other, but first the people must want it and those who marched on tuesday made a bold statement that they want change and are rready to acheive change Enough is Enough Enough of Darkness Enough of running the coutry like a private property Enough of disregard for the constitution Enough of sychophancy Enough of mediocrity Enough of Lies Enough of people dying from Generator fumes, candles, laterns and Generator explosion Enough of unemployement Enuogh of poverty of the mind Enough of death traps as roads Enough of religious killins in the north and bogus committees Enough of conferences ( be on your desks and get to work) Enough of piracy Enough of siphoning Police funds and making them in efficient ENOUGH IS ENOUGH |

aisha2:Have we met somewhere before? How are you sure i have not taken my own advice? You are drawing too many conclusions in a haste. I have not said i was not at the rally or at similar ones in the recent past. I simply said that Dele Momodu might be a mole. We cannot see the heart of any man and as much as i believe good of all men until they prove otherwise, we can only go by a man's track record. Nigerians (including myself) are too gullible. Even in our desperation, we cannot forget to examine antecedents. There is no other tool at our disposal. meanwhile, what is your argument again? |

Seun: Seun! Do you want to write your name in gold or smear it with mud? Make your position clear! Even if you FATHER is in the government, if you have any semblance of intelligence, you will MOVE against this guarded system designed and maintained to keep Nigerians chained to perpetual slavery! Be a MAN! |
Re: Charly Boy, Dele Momodu, Others Protest Bad Leadership by Nobody: 2:20pm On Mar 17, 2010 |
mbulela: Ehn let him prove otherwise first. How are we sure you won't turn out to be the mole? |

d annoying n pathetic part of dis whole tin is dat our disgraceful NOT WORTH CALLING HUMAN BEINGS we have as political leaders are not even bothered about d cries, suffering n protest of nigerians all d animals kip doing is globe troting-from canada to australia,to new zealand to asia to carlifonia etc.surprisingly enough dey see order, decency n d life their citizens r living, instead of taking a cue from dem dey derive joy in syphooning d money.little do they know how other citizens from other countries loathe n look down on dem.every where in d world nigerians r shouting enough is enough yet dey seem unbothered.CURSED BE D PARENTS OF THEM 4 DEY N THEIR DECEDANTS WILL LIVE IN REGRETS N PAIN 4 D REST OF THEIR LIVES |

I think we ought to start taking the protest to their houses and not the national assembly. . . first to the Senate president's house, and the big lipped Demeji Bankole's compound. . . if they still don't listen, then we start taking kidnapping their kids! |
Re: Charly Boy, Dele Momodu, Others Protest Bad Leadership by honeric01(m): 3:40pm On Mar 17, 2010 |
@violent, u never reach that level oo, kidnapping their kids? ah |
Re: Charly Boy, Dele Momodu, Others Protest Bad Leadership by violent(m): 3:47pm On Mar 17, 2010 |
honeric01: It might just be the most effective strategy. . .if someone kidnapped Turai and her kids long ago with the ''bail" conditioned on steady power supply and improved security, we might not even need all these protest to begin with! |
Re: Charly Boy, Dele Momodu, Others Protest Bad Leadership by Goldwyn77: 3:49pm On Mar 17, 2010 |
Guys I think we've been through these over and over again, those that were in JAM Abuja will know that we need more than staying under the sun and carrying placards. We now need spiritual and divine intervention, just like the APPLE-DEAL of some years ago, that led to change of power and mass return of stolen wealth. So "If the people that are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and repent from there sins, God will look down from heaven, forgive our sins and heal our land " D4 9ja youths we gotta to Pray, not throw tantrums |
Re: Charly Boy, Dele Momodu, Others Protest Bad Leadership by Nobody: 3:55pm On Mar 17, 2010 |
platinumnk:Hey baby Goldwyn77:Someone smack this guy so he can use his brain to reason. My friend, am a christain, we have been praying for donkey years but while we closed our eyes to pray they stole our votes, raped our resources and sexually abused our daughters, Prayer without works is dead. Wake up jor |
Re: Charly Boy, Dele Momodu, Others Protest Bad Leadership by Goldwyn77: 4:16pm On Mar 17, 2010 |
Girl, if u think prayer is slow, also carrying placards in an environment like 9ga is directly proportional to nothingness, its no solution, things like that are only effective in western govt. where Leaders Listen with conscience (some would have resigned, but not 9ja). you'll end up tanning ur skin under Abuja hot sun, or you resort to the other post, serious kidnaps and terrorism, but then see wats happening in Niger delta, innocent people are the victims and not the Politicians. You may wish to continue tanning your skin under the sun, but never under-estimate the potency of prayers, no matter what you do, Change will only come in THE FULLNESS OF TIME, "You mortals don't see beyond your noses though" |

Seun , What has the protest achieved, really, besides blessing us with the very nice cleavage photo above? i can't beleive that am reading this from seun. Anyway, as long as u can fuel your Gen 24/7, buy your water 24/7, atleast the road to your house is still manageable and a lot of security personnels around, you're good to go but for the rest of us who cant afford these 27/7 abeg let us protest and take pictures atlest for record purposes |
