To answer your question.

They are lazy

They are incompetent

They lack vision

They lack ideas

They have zero sense of duty and purpose

Lastly, they are the same byproducts of the same communal and societal victim mentality syndrome which decapitates the human spirit to perform or do anything to progress and develop.

SouthEastFacts:

You don't know Economics.

The US debt stands at $19 trillion. This debt is never a threat to long run sustainability of the US economy.

76% of the debts are held by the public. This means that if government starts servicing those debts, most of the funds will be trapped within the US. This will even increase the US productive capacity because availability of these funds will increase loanable funds, which will stimulate investment in the long run.

The other 24% of the debts are held by inter governmental agencies. That one government agency borrowing from another.

The debt of Lagos is not this way. Most of them are held outside Lagos and servicing them will lead to capital flight. This in the long run is not good for Lagos who had already borrowed above acceptable threshold by 300%.

Continue to allow yourself to be deceived by "US is the most indebted country in the world" but those deceiving you won't tell you what I just told you now.

Sorry, SE is the least indebted region in Nigeria with only 7.5% of the total debts of the 36 states and FCT.

Do yourself a favor by providing facts.

One thing I know about Igbos is that they're synonymous with aba-made fake stats.

I'm seeing a lot of percentages to excuse Ibo's underdevelopment, but I'm not seeing sources.

‘We, Igbo, are the ones marginalising ourselves’

ABAKALIKI – AN All Progressive Congress, APC Chieftain, Comrade Chinedu Ogah weekend called on all the Governors of the South East geopolitical zone of the country to decamp to APC and stop accusing the APC led government of marginalisation. In a chat with newsmen in Ikwo local government area of the State, comrade Ogah who accused prominent Igbo leaders in the past administrations in the country of marginalising and diverting democracy dividend meant for those within the South East zone.

Ogah who is also the National Coordinator of Buhari/ Osibanjo Initiative For Demonstrating Change in Nigeria further accused them of being greedy, selfish and unpatriotic towards their fellow south easterners. He urged those presently in the cabinet of President Muhammadu Buhari’s government to make sure that they use their positions to better the lot of their people.

“All the Governors in the South East zone should decamp to APC so that they can benefit from the present administration; the challenge facing the south-east is type of leaders they had in previous administrations. Tell me how some of them were able to assist their people while in position”.

He called on politicians and the people of the south East zone to learn to live together and avoid politics of bitterness, rancour and vendetta. According to him, we are the ones marginalising ourselves and so we need to support the Buhari led administration so that all the dividends meant for us can come to us.

Blame Igbo leaders for backwardness in South East — Ezeemo

The gubernatorial candidate of the Progressive People’s Alliance (PPA) in Anambra State, Mr Godwin Ezeemo, yesterday, said past Igbo leaders and elders should receive greater blame for the backwardness in the region.
He regretted that the Igbo were yet to appoint leaders who would work for their common interest, above their selfish interest, just as he lamented several chances at the federal level which were misused due to selfishness and greed.

Ezeemo spoke while receiving students from the Federal Polytechnic, Oko and Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University, Igbariam, who paid him a visit at Umuchu, in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State.

He, however, said IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu and “most Igbo are yet to realize that past Igbo leaders and elders are more to blame for the backward state of things in their region which calls for immediate attention.

“Our elite have not been sincere to us’ we are the ones marginalizing ourselves by accommodating corrupt leaders among us.
“Most school graduates are unemployable in Igboland because the elders have aided and abetted cutting corners in school and the ‘special centre’ syndrome. Since we do not have as much chance again today, we are bickering and complaining of being marginalized,” he said.

The governorship hopeful, however, advised the youths to develop good character to succeed and excel in life despite human shortcoming or background.

According to a LIB reader, the state of Proda road, Enugu is so terrible that those who ply the road only put on black and brown clothes during dry season because of how dusty the road gets. It's worse off during rainy season as the road gets really muddy.

Today, Ibadan, Lagos, Ogun and even Osun all have masterplans to develop their land. Why don't Ibos have the same plan? Why do they rely on FG to come up with a plan to develop the SE?

Victim mentality decapitates you, it doesn't allow you to do for yourself or find solutions to your problems simply because you see yourselves as victims of other people's machinations, intentional neglect and grand design for elimination (Paranoia).

Based on the above dispositions, you are now the victim and it's other people's responsibility to do for you, it's other people's responsibility to do basically what you really can do for yourself and to hide or mask your incompetency and lack of vision as a leader, you formulate the victim mentality narratives to feed to your people that it is not your fault that you don't have roads, bridges, seaports and airports, it is other people holding you back, it is other people's intentions and designs to make sure you don't progress.

As a society, we know all about our FG and our public official's corrupt and incompetent ways and the sad effects of their shortcomings are not limited to just the SE, we see the same FG neglect in every corner of Nigeria.

The same FG neglect is not limit to the SE because we see the same neglect in Kogi, Adamawa, Ekiti, Bayelsa, Edo, Delta, Eboyin, Borno, Oyo, Ondo and so on and on all over Nigeria so limiting FG neglect to the SE makes no sense, but they are able to use and feed the victim mentality narrative to their people as a form of hatred and evil design to hold them back or even eliminate them evolved into their societal and communal hatred, distrust of the FG and the rest of Nigeria.

The unfortunate victims of FG neglect in many states outside the SE are not playing the victim car like the SE because many of them have realized the fact that they can not sit around and wait for the FG to do anything for them so they are taking charge of their own economic future and destiny by doing everything the SE and their leaders refused to do by building their own state airports, bridges, seaports and so on while the SE sits around with their victim mentality and it is the FG's responsibility views to do everything for them.

When you resigned to that frame of mind that your own progress, prosperity, economic future and destiny are in the hands of other people, you are not going to move forward in life and you can not progress and develop hence the lack of development in the SE across the board.

About the SE youths, since they have been brainwashed and indoctrinated into the victim mentality, FG and other people hate and bitterness syndrome, it is almost impossible for them to demand better from their own leaders or even see the incompetency sand lack of foresight and vision they lack, but instead, they look outside their region for people to hate, abuse and accuse for everything under the sun.

The average youth in the SE know more about Osun state than their own state, they also know more about Osun state's Governor and their finances than they do about their own states, a state ad governor they hate so much for no reason is not playing the victim card or letting their money challenges hold them back and still decided to build what is now set to be the best airport in Nigeria, but are they challenging their own leaders in the SE to do the same thing, build their own airport? No, they are in fact abusing Aregbeshola and shouting corruption all over the place as if Aregbeshola is their governor and it is their money he's stealing even though the airport in Osun is privately funded.

Edo state is about to start with their own state seaport instead of playing the victim card like they do in the SE, Edo is even daring the FG to stop them. They are determined to go ahead and have sourced funding for the seaport, but what are they doing in the SE? They are the victim and it is the FG's responsibility to do everything for them, including bushing their teeth and tying their shoes for them.

After begging and wailing over the 2nd NB for 30 years and it's still not built even by GEJ who promised to exile himself if he did not build that bridge after voting for him and his party for 16 long years, shouldn't you at one point say to your state governors in the SE to join money together and build the bridge once and for all?

Are they saying the whole of SE can not join money together and build the best airport in Nigeria or are they saying they are no longer the richest, the smartest, the most industrious and dominating people in Nigeria?

Why are the so called the so called richest, the smartest, the most industrious and dominating people in Nigeria unable to do anything while the people they say they are better than in other states building and commissioning major projects all over the place.

The answer is, they are incapacitated by victim mentality, lack of visionary leaders and lack of leaders with great sense of duty and responsibility.

They have sadly mentally corrupted their youths just to save their own skin and hide their own shortcomings and collective failures.

Check most of my posts, I don't joke with links. I intentionally omitted this to show you how ignorant you are.

A simple google search would have saved you this embarrassment.

You claimed to be knowledgeable but you don't know the debt profile of US. You don't know that US debt is 19 Trillion USD and it is projected to hit 21 soon. You don't know that 76% of those debts are held by the public (I guess you don't understand what that term is), 24% held by govt agencies. It is pathetic you don't know this basic knowledge yet you compare Lagos with USA.

Are you kidding me that you don't know the debt of the entire SE is about 248 billion NGN and that of the entire 36 states and FCT about 3.3 trillion NGN. If you are good with Maths, you should have known this translates to 7.5%.

Calling these Aba-made stat shows you really need education urgently.

Keep looking for links.

Nigerians are very happy that for the first time they can beat their chest for having dragged the Igbo to their level. But they forget that the Igbo will continue to migrate to Kano, Lagos, etc and wrestle opportunities with other Nigerians in the streets where quota system is non existent. Where it is more about your capacity and ethics than anything else. In the next ten years Nigerians will look back and again see how futile it is to repress and oppress the Igbo. Just like the unprecedented recovery in the seventies and eighties when they were expected to be down and out after the civil war.
I still don't get it... sad If your SE region is the land of milk, honey and development, why would you and your people need to "continue to migrate to Kano, Lagos, etc and wrestle opportunities with other Nigerians in the streets?"

Our play field is beyond Igbo land. We will develop Igbo land definitely. But we must get our politics right. Our politics is currently burdened by an oppressive Nigeria state that hates core Igbo values of merit, fairness and equality. Very soon Tony Nwonye will take over in Anambra and it will be a 50/50 chance. We pray he walks the part of Ngige rather than Rochas. This way our opponents will be disappointed. Otherwise we will still await the opportune time to get our true leader not the one influenced by Nigeria. Meanwhile we will continue to migrate to other parts of Nigeria where opportunities abound.
IPOB told you not to vote. So how do you think Tony nwoye will get into power in Anambra?

"Earmarked," means it may never see the light of day, and may end up not being completed. Call us for inspection, when construction works are finished at the site. For now, there is no need for you to flaunt a barren, empty bush....

Out of top ten we have three Igbo states and one Yoruba ....I don't consider Lagos Yoruba due to influx of migrants and federal presence

So what are they yapping
You know what? You are right. sad Lagos was excavated from the Southwest, and relocated into the SE region under your watch. It is currently located in Afikpo as we speak, that is why Lagos cannot be considered as part of Yoruba land.... undecided

5. The federal emasculation of every sphere of life in Nigeria, started as pretence for One Nigeria has been used to strangle Igbo ingenuityy and efforts. You probably would know that the limitation of universal free primary education was because Igbos were noted to be enjoying most of resources devoted to the scheme, so some smart Alec figured it would be better to do it state by state. My point is that any federal program that levels the playing filed for everybody is some how not good, because Igbos would certainly excel in that endeavor.

6. OBJ recently stated that he laughs at people complaining about the presence of too many Igbos outside their region, "well, he asked is there any federal presence in Igboland to cater for Igbos? The answer remains a big NO"...

What do you mean by is there any federal presence in Igboland? sad Do you think there is federal presence in Kogi, Taraba, Niger, Ondo etc? At least Enugu state has the Akanu Ibiam International Airport in Enugu, federal polytechnics, universities etc., while Anambra currently has the Onitsha River port which is almost completed, and other SE states have a few other federal govt structures. What airports, river ports and federal infrastructure do states like Bayelsa, Ekiti, Adamawa, Zamfara etc have? Even states like Kogi that have the River Niger flowing through it, as well as a river port, has the worst set of federal and state roads in the country. What federal presence exists there? There is nothing the SE states are going through, that other states have not suffered from. Yet, whose citizens cry and wail the loudest of them all, about lack of a federal presence?

The topic was deleted for no reason, but I will recreate the clean version.

Today, Ibadan, Lagos, Ogun and even Osun all have masterplans to develop their land. Why don't Ibos have the same plan? Why do they rely on FG to come up with a plan to develop the SE?

Enugu
Op, land that cannot sustain its people, that one na land? We call it potopoto arena bashabasha grin

Please don't deflect your disability unto others. Thanks.
Create a thread for Fayose, Ipob's messiah, if you want.

Ibadan, which is 27 times the size of Enugu state, is more developed and has more corporate infrastructures than all 5 SE states put together.
Ask me for facts.
Lawd, this is brutal. You finished her! grin
