M23 was better armed than any enemy Nigeria armed forces have ever faced. Tanzania never led any battle in front of brave SA soldiers they(SA soldiers) were the first to engage rebels in the DRC,Tells us on which front or battle was SA led into battle. A jet that was used to shoot down a MIG-21,Nigeria still flies a copy of this jet. It even shoot down MI-24 helicopters which Nigeria flies. South Africa didn't enjoy air superiority cause of the appearance of the MIG-23,but fought well wiping out entire battalions and brigades. SA artillery crews showing how well trained they were camouflaged their G5 and G6 guns,using the "shoot and scoot" tactic avoided air strikes destroying their equipment. NO missile was ever shoot against a Nigerian jet.
