He was sent a mail 2 days ago from
Accra dat he should submit proof of
english language stuff

Dey said d only intl eng exam dey
accept is IELTS.

He has published books and i am asking
if dis can be included cos he was given
a 60 days ULTIMATUM to submit dos stuff

Pls kindly enlighten me

Yes, it is true. they ask for the exam. Let him go and do the exam for them to confirm his ability to speak, write, listen and read.

Atrue! I believe there musta been a detail requirement as to what and which Exam to sit for. Bt just for the records, the xam is in two phase, ur oga is to sit for the IELTS (General class) and not the Academic class.

better he seats for the IELTS and not try and go through any other complicated thing to prove he speaks english.

The exam is very easy . i read the books i bought for about 30 mins before the exam and got all perfect scores. ( never used the thing in the end)

if he has published a book this should be no problem.

He should write the exam. It's quite an easy exam. The point of the exam is to determine his proficiency. Depending on his proficiency, he may get more or less points. He is advised to take the exam to clear all doubts that he can communicate in English.

i registered mine with the organization in the states . I believe it costs $170 and the books i bought fromamazon.com.

If you are in naija , the British council will be the best starting point, they should know where to get the books as well. The sooner the better , cos the exam dates fill up fast.

Hi house,

I went there on Monday and was asked
to get the bank draft. Got to Zenith but
was told unless the person writin the exam
comes for the stuff

I went to Skye where i got it. I paid 29,017.13
and got a bank draft with N28,500 value.

Went to the BC office and submitted.
Like wat pittybaby said, dates fill fast in
Lag and i was told the next available
date is June 5,

GOSH! We need d result to be sent latest
May 15, later she said Abuja is open for
April 10 and i took the chance and registered
her for Abuja.

not that they will say it is valid for a specific period of time or something.

Suxes, thought u live in Lagos city'? Check out TOEFL test dates from their website, that should be a guild, there are test centres acros nigeria, port harcut, lagos, kaduna, abuja etc,
