Please i need advice from the ladies on this forum. I'm prone to experiencing PMS (pre-menstrual syndrome) every month. I realise that, at a particular time of the month, i become very irritable, prone to terrible mood swings, anger and tears. I cry at the drop of a hat, at these times that sometimes it's very embarrassing. I've looked it up online and nothing seems to help, so i've come to accept it. Medically, they say women should expect it like 10days before their period, but my PMS comes way early, that is, as soon as i approach ovulation.
My major problem is that it's ruining my rship. My boyfriend never understands. Every month during this period we fight alot, with him accusing me of using PMS as an excuse for everything. I so wish he'd be a little more accomodating especially as it's something i cannot control. I've advised him to look it up online to find out how other guys handle it, but he's being adamant.
I dont know what to do. As usually the fights make me more apprehensive, and exacerbates the situation.
I need advice from other ladies going through this and how they handle situations like mine in their relationships . Advice from the men are also welcome.

Since you have realize that your PMS is the reason you have clashes with your bf, be conscious of yourself when relating with him. To him it is just an excuse.

I've not experienced PMS (Premium Motor Spirit). I've experience DPK (Dual Purpose Kerosine) & AGO (Automated Gas Oil), lol.
On a more serious note, u'll need to work on u. Since u know when d PMS occurs, cant u try controlling urself then? Cos i know if d guy has got d pms, u would've raised a thread about him on NL, played ball with his a.s.s with other NL girls, termed him a baby & dumped his a.s.s long ago. Dont push d bame on anything; its on u. I'm on ur guys side!

Is he a kid?
Why woud he think u use ur PMS as an excuse? do u have mood swings on normal dayz as well? if not then he need his head tested. cant stand insensitive guys.

I'm not Tope but you really arent making sense on a more serious note. My cousin has very bad painful periods, you learn to handle women during those periods with tenderness. It wont dent your pride to learn to be patient and understanding in times like this.

If you've tried to explain it to him and he still doesn't understand, I think you should try to limit any interaction with him during that period. That way your anger doesn't get the best of you.

I doubt it. I thot my cousin was going to die the first time. If you see a woman in such pain and you're not moved to do anything she asks you to do in that moment then i doubt if you're human.
