MySRT 4661X can not switch to d next channel, it shows 'Waiting' when I try to change channel. Can anyone help please

I dont know when you bought your receiver because SRT 4663X is a discontinued model which means Strong Technologies no longer produces these receivers. In other words, ALL recent and new SRT4663X receivers being bought are FAKE.

Nimaali: I recently upgraded my strong decoder 4669xii with an .stb file. After the upgrade, the decoder went off and has refused to come on again. When i switch it on from the back, the lights blink once and that's it. It doesn't "boot". Can anyone help? Any ideas?

1. I bought new str 4940 but its showing card error for JSC sport card (aljezeera card).

2. l have str 4663x when am watching jsc sport with aljezeera card it always freeze.

SRT 4940 seems to be a receiver for MYTV and FTA channels only. Those who have used this receiver claim that it is married to the MYTV card and therefore cannot accept cards from other providers. As of now you are stuck with that one. (Others even went to the extent of saying it doesn't even accept software upgrade!)

If your SRT 4663X is ORIGINAL you can search for software upgrades that have recently been released trying to solve the Aljazeera freezing issue. You can get it from here: http://crosat.us/upload/index.php?PHPSESSID=fa9f2d2037703794bc90f769244511b3&direction=0&order=mod&directory=Strong%20Receivers/Strong%20WIZKID%20Files/Strong%204%20Middle%20East. If it is not genuine (which is likely) don't even think of upgrading it, it will die. With that one, you are again stuck.

I check the link but did not see any patch for 4663x but when i chech on d brazil folder i saw many software which i try but is change the resolution of my pictures. didnt solve d problem.

the flash DrivE ic of ur reciever is bad & u got to meet ur tec. to fiX it back(it.s about #1,500)
but what i notice in ur complain,ur reciever might be the FaKe 4669.
if u want to knw fake strong,check the inbuild of the card reader & coax cable

i have a new str 4940HD, but when i blind scan w3a it will stop at 22% and wont continue again.

But it work well on nilesat, multi tv. but if i connect my 4663x it will scan.

Try going to Dish setting and check if LNB Frequency is set at 9.750/10.600 and not 9.750/10.750. Some receivers freeze when scanning if set to 9.750/10.750
