I don't think the person I know went to Abuja. I can find out, I know it cost him a lot of money but he had to change it eventually cos SINP (Saskatchewan) insisted he change it prior to nominating him despite his letter of explanation

Hi pls help a sister. I don't know if I should use my law school degree as a professional degree when calculating my CRS. You knw it's masters degree or professional degree. I don't want anything that will disqualify me.

Also I want to knw if I should use IQAS or WES.

You do not need to get law school transcript. Your LLB alone will give you the professional degree evaluation with IQAS

Plz all, I need ur take on dis, I just want to embark on my ECA, visiting d skool's Lagos office, dey said getting transcript takes btw 6 months and a year and dat has really gotten me worried as I will hit a new
age come June!

I read smbody talk about using Etx-ng for transcript. How does dat work? Can I use it to process my USMANI DANFODIYO transcript? Will it be faster? Any one in d house who has had to process transcript from dis Skool? Any one with a contact from dis Skool?

Still on this quoted below, we tried to find out the visa office two days ago and got this response.

What do you guys think?

“Your file is currently under review and requires additional verifications. As a result, the assessment period will be outside of our posted processing times.

Unfortunately at this time we are not able to determine when your application will be finalized, but our office will contact you as soon as all verifications are completed, or if any additional information or documents are required.“

What if a profile went from the default to “medicals passed” to “we do not need additional documents” then ADR & CSE and then “add docs you provided have been uploaded” to “add docs you provided are being reviewed”?

All this while the background check has been “Not applicable”.

Hi law is a professional degree. If you read page 0 like i suggested you will find it. Use IQAS and not Wes for evaluation it will access your llb as a professional degree. Also click on my moniker to see all law related questions

Congratulations! That was fast! I am so happy for you

Lol @bolded. Just follow the instructions in the email strictly. Let me share the following based on experience.
-Print the PPR mail.
-Fill the eye and height colour chart form (usually attached or pasted in the mail)
-Follow photo specifications that was included in the email (we resized the digital photos that we used for e-APR to the required specifications. A number of applicants did same. This should be fine if those photos were taken recently i.e. less than 6 months)
-Include your international passports.
-Prepare a cover letter. You may wish to adopt the sample below.
-If your family configuration has changed, fill form IMM008. Otherwise, the sample letter with the bolded "disclaimer" should suffice.

Package the above along with any other required documents and go to the nearest DHL office. I am assuming they were recommended for you as done for most Nigerians. Wish you a smooth sail from here on.

A quick question please.

For those who had used Money Market Fund as POF, kindly give response to the below enquiries:

1. What kind of confirmation letter should I get from the fund manager and how does the format looks like?

2. Must I submit the statement of the fund?

3. If the above answer is yes, would a lumpsum of about N5m raise an eyebrow?

4. Assuming the lump sum is credited into the fund on January 10 and little subsequent contributions are made thereafter, for how long should the lump sum stay in the money market fund before submitting documents post ITA, that would not raise issue?
