Hello my good people. Thanks for your good work & support on this forum.

Please, for those who have done medicals at Children's Practice.... Ikoyi Lagos, is it possible to get the upfront medical certificate the same day?

Thanks for your help.
They issue you a print out that's same day, that's what you will upload in the medical portion in your cic account.

If u are going as entrepreneur then it will be a bit harder cos of the funds require, but it can also be easy depending on ur abilities.

Yes u can leave ds year if u start early, d difficulties are minor if u can pass ur Ielts wt good grade the rest will be work over.

So let talk to u as an entrepreneur den ur case might be diff a bit.

From the link, I may fall into the B or C category.
But what makes the entrepreneurial part difficult? Is it the funding?

You didn't read the link i gave you. You may run into difficulty if you don't fully understand what CIC is all about. I saw someone advising you on going through the route of entrepreneur. Something tells me you don't understand how that works either.

Anyways whether or not you are going to practice law in Canada you should evaluate your university degree LLB with IQAS and not WES. A word is enough for the wise.

From Oshodi, stop at either Westex or UPS.
it is between both bus stops. It's very easy to locate.
happytbaby:
From Oshodi, take a bus going to Ifako-Gbagada, the bus stop should be close Charly Boy bus stop (according to my Boss, me no sabi road o), you will have to cross to the other side, its close to UPS.

If driving, enter the place into Google maps and listen to the directions.

Good luck.

Please i need assistance, how do i process ICAN transcript. their site doesnt provide enough details.

Has anyone done that before for WES.
Write an application letter requesting for the transcript and the address to be sent to, take along a passport photograph, printed copies of your results. Pay a sum of 10k (at Ican office oyingbo)and take the receipt to the transcript section.
I hope you have Ats because WES evaluated my ICAN and it wasn’t favourable.

Hi Guys- this is my first post on this thread. I have some few questions regarding qualification. I am 34 with a degree . My CRS is hovering around 395 and i need an extra qualification to boast it. I have exhausted all other means

My questions are:

Does Canadian online courses count for any point. I am thinking of doing an online certification course . I've found couple of Universities in Canada but, want to be sure before wasting money on it?

Which one should i do ; Diploma or a year certificate?

I am kind of desperate right now due to my age as my score will drop again in August ,2018. sad embarassed embarassed embarassed

Will WEC/ IRCC accept a year certificate from Damelin or other colleges in South Africa ( i'm based in SA) if i decided to take the course in SA?

Please guys any advise will be highly appreciated now. i am confused on what to do!

Hi,

Before you spend all that money, did you get the maximum scores in your IELTS? CLB 10 could really boost your CRS.

ahn ahn why are u being wicked na?? Op please don't heed this advise o. People who are self employed have to prove their self employment and this can be a herculean task, possible though.

If you like yourself, just evaluate your BL or llb and just enter canny first. When you land ,do anything u want...ciao

Madam read at least page 0-10 and u will understand the entire process. You can ask specific questions here and the experienced people on the thread will respond to u.I also see that u are hasty, the Canada journey requires patience and of course a step at a time will be rewarding. If you have read the thread well,u will definitely know the people to send personal messages to.A word is enough for the wise!

Hello House,

Just wanted to find out, is it OK to get the Nigerian Police PCC, before ITA, as soon I go into the pool I mean, given a high CRS score.

Secondly, when can a gift deed be done, before or after ITA?

I wrote on DEC 2nd last year. Few days to the test, we were informed via text message/mail that the venue had changed from national theater iganmu to somewhere at Ikeja, I believe it was Sheba event center. Thus I want to believe such change is not unusual or unheard of. I didn't doubt it, I simply believed it as it was the same email address that informed me of my speaking test venue. All the best in your exams today. God will perfect it for all you guys writing

Elders pls help my colleague put mouth for this.

Good day E-family

I want to ask some questions for a colleague who is worried about his past condition. When we did the calculation together, his CRS is 454 together with his spouse
The question is PCC related, his predicament goes thus:
He applied for a South African Visit Visa in 2005-2006 with his real name, his application was rejected, the first application was with his real age, He then did another passport with an increased age with different name(though were his other name and his mother maiden name as surname) and got the visa.
When he went to SA, he was convicted for fraud spent 6months in prison and deported home, When he came back 2007 he turned new leaf, went to school, took up a legit job after graduation and worked till date
He doesn't have possession of the old passports with either name
Meanwhile his finger print were taken in SA when he went to prison.
1. Would he need to get PCC from SA considering its a different name ?

2. Should he be silent about it during the application for the EE?

3 is there any stage during the EE application that he needs to send his finger print to CIC?

4. If he decide to be silent about it, would CIC know he ever live in South Africa?

Gurus, I told him all these questions are beyond my knowledge, I also a newbie just learning the rope but promised to help him ask and research, pls your contributions is needed

Thanks in anticipation.

Convicts are not eligible for Canadian immigration. I believe once he declares it on his profile, he will be deemed ineligible. If he doesn't declare and he's caught, he will be rejected, banned for misrepresentation and lose his application fees. If perchance he scales through and gets PR and lands, at any point in his life if he has to do biometrics and his criminal past is flagged, he will be deported for misrepresentation I believe.

It's a bad case. Crime really does not pay.

You have not maxed out your possible scores yet.

At 34 with a Bachelors and 3 years work experience, your CRS should be around 420s or very slightly lower.

Also you may find an online postgraduate diploma from anywhere in the world.

Do that while you work and within a year or less, you would have 2 or more certs and a CRS of around 440-450.

While at it, seek provincial nominations. Depending on provincial nominations alone may not be smart as you may not get the nomination.

Cheers.
