Let's examine the aspirants from the southwest
A. Bode George.. experienced and matured. But has consistently underperformed in Lagos State. He can be easily infiltrated by the APC.
Moreso he is an ex-convict!

B. Prof Adeniran. He's not seen as an heavyweight politically.. both home and abroad. He's going to be more of a puppet in power as PDP chairman.

C. Gbenga Daniel: has so many corruption cases hanging on his neck too. This will make it easy for the anti corruption mantra of Buhari regime make mince meat of him politically. Moreso he's from same State as Amosun, Kashamu and Osijbajo all of whom are capable of annihilating him permanently.

D. Jimi Agbaje: a novice in PDP. He only runs at everything in sight without working consistently on his goal. A case in sight is his lame attempt to contest the PDP chairmanship position.
E. Others are nameless and inconsequential to engage my MB.

What PDP needs is stability which only Secondus can give. If only he's not in Wike's pockets.

in summary they come from a group of lily livered people who can only shout and make noise,when the real heat begins ,they will abandon ship.
A south southerner will fight to the last,no matter what it takes. APC propaganda government must be put to rest,2019 is the time.

I support Secondus, He is the only one that can stand the test of times

The South South and South East can have the party to themselves. I don’t know what any Yoruba man would be looking for in the Chairmanship race of the party sef. Please when is the convention so we can tune in and watch?

Everybody has become political analysis. Though I am not interested in PDP affairs but Secondous chairman will give credence to Sheriff earlier stand that Wike is planning to take over the party. PDP will not win 10 states in 2019 at this rate.

Since 2015 when PDP was booted out only SW has had the gut to play opposition and keep Buhari on his toes.

SS has turned back to militancy
SE picked back on rebellion.

Neither SS or SE cared about PDP as a party. So why reap reward where you did not sow?

Why can't pdp just grow up and pick a good chairman... Thats how they ended up with sheriff the other time. Wike should really respect himself

The reason why Uche secondus will be the PDP chairman is the same reason why a Yoruba man will be the president come 2023.
The only hope of an Igbo presidency can only be through PDP (which is not feasible). if anyone is thinking about an Igbo becoming president under APC he/she is on a long thing.

If Atiku doesn't win the next general election, they will back to their Biafra agitation.

It's being a while I made comments on the politics section.

Some of the analysts like OP who I assume is from SE are the reasons they are yet to produce the president.

You can yell all you want but that is the truth.

The SW and SS are the only two regions yet to produce the PDP Chairman.

When Ali-Modu Sherrif usurped the party's hierachy and sent everyone scrambling, it was Fayose and FFK that stood to be counted.
Of course, we all knew the roles played by Fayose and Wike initially to impose Sheriff.

Even GEJ was not bold enough as Ex-President and BOT chairman to confront him. Dickson was just ambivalent and most of the SE governors of PDP and party stalwarts kept mum all through.


Now, some of you are accusing the same SW of being cowards and all sorts.

It is only in the spirit of fairness for the SW to produce the Chairman because GEJ from SS was the last highest officer holder of the party.

You can decide to do with it as you wish, but there is reckoning. The SW also has millions of PDP members who have never decamped nor supported any other party. It is a matter of principle.

They are watching.

Obviously a Secondus win is the final nail on the coffin of the PDP and the final stamp on the fact that the party has becone more or less a regional party belonging to Wike and his supporters

That party na dead end, the Yorubas in PDP and other members are birds of the same feathers.
My father used to be a strong member, he left to join AD.
He said PDP CANNOT do any good for Nigerians, he said the party was set up to serve the members and not the country.
