even though you're right and also wrong. It's fallacious to think not a single person achieved such setting of goals for a whole year . People don't achieve it based on same reasons they dot achieve short term goals... Lack of determination and other factors... A structure should be in place to cross check how well you go about achieving your goals of course . People just allow wind of life to carry them up and down ...

I did it to be more social always hung out especially when I was abroad so I just wanted to curtail it all together. Wine is okay if I’m at a party but I’ve given up on the other stuff and it helps me end the year healthier than I started

its good you have. But taking it to become more social means you're doing something against your nature and that's being deceitful. You could be yourself and still be more social ... And if you're not so social , is not your fault and you dot have to be so hard on yourself .... You could just give yourself time to adjust. We all grew up in different ways.

I failed all woefully. Spent all my money on slay queens in lekki. Smoked and clubbed and wasted 9 million within 4 months. Now I'm dead broke. 2018, no more slay queen no more alcohol/weed and women. Focusing on my music career this time. Na 2018 I go know whether I truly get sense or not.

My resolution in 2017 was "Beginning of a new era, (The Journey to greatness)."
I succeeded in achieving my goals. I succeeded in laying this "foundation of greatness", even amid criticism, obstacles and challenges.

To pursue with all vigor my goals in life. I got what I prayed for. A good job in the oil sector. Plus numerous blessings from God This year was good and next year can only get better

My academic resolution for this year is somewhat similar to o.p's. I planned to boost my CGPA to first class, but constraints here and there didn't let it work out. In fact, I almost had my studies forfeited in this year if not the help of one nairalander here who, forever, I will never forget, and will remain grateful to. He's InvertedHammer, this man paid my fees single-handedly. I'm however grateful to God because there is still hope for me in my remaining subsequent years before my graduation. I like to use this medium to wish InvertedHammer, who made this year worthwhile for me, a happy Christmas and a prosperous new year in advance. May the good Lord prosper all your endeavours in 2018 beyond your imagination.

i thank God for my life and my resolution was achieved.looking foward to another one next year.
