but did dangote try to play the tribal card...?...oooh wow....all nigerians told banks to go against dangote...

look...i will calm down.....lets analyse this matter for a minute:

innoson borrowed money from gtbank to buy things....okay...

gtbank says,so long you dont pay back what you borrowed, everything you buy from the money you borrowed from us belongs to gtbank...!!..period.....

so why is it becoming a tribal issue now.........

Are u really this slow? Have u not seen records of court judgments on favour of Innosson against GTB? Are u not aware that they fraudulently overcharged his accounts by about 700m as determined by am independent auditor agreed on by both parties? At the prevailing interest rate of 22% it has ballooned up to 8bn as awarded by the Court of Appeal so what are u yakking about that he owes the bank and they own everything he has?

Is that why EFCC would be involved in arresting him? Did he use himself for collateral too? The bank owes him and not the other way round. Educate yourself.

you agreed to 22% on paper and not 7%.....

why would anybody agree to 22% and sign on it...?...

Ask your thieving, voracious yoruba bank. Are u surprised?

bros abeg no vex ooo, shey the 5billion na dollars or naira, which one before i go believe say he fit make GTB go bankrupt

As at court of Appeal decision,it is 8bn Naira. Banks capital base as at last recapitalisation is 25bn Naira so u see why a possibilityof bankruptcy may arise cos as each day goes the interest on the original debt owed him by d bank keeps increasing.

U look at facts snd still somehow arrived at him being indebted to the bank and therefore they own all he has? It's either u have a wrong set of facts or ur vision is permanently blurred.

That was the prevailing rate offered by the bank, he knew his business and knew he culd repay within the time frame. He is an Igbo man and a risk taker. He paid his loan but Igbo momey too sweet yoruba bank. They couldn't stop stealing and landed in the mess they are in with judgments against them.

Are u not aware that oppressive interest rates is one of the major challenges entrepreneurs face in Nigeria? It is one of the reasons the country us ranked poorly in the ease of doing business.

That is also a possibility. I've only taken a very simplistic view at this point because I do not have all the facts as to their cash flow/liquidity and all.

Nothing will happen, he jumped bail and by so doing he is liable to ARREST!
Follow the case from the beginning and you'll know he never jumped bail

Signing the papers wasn't the issue. He was able to pay. The problem arose when it was discovered that GTB had developed sticky fingers and stole his money. Asking them to pay back at the same prohibitive rate became a problem for them. So they liked to take from him but they couldn't pay it? Bunch of thieves!
