Thanks for offering to 'HELP' - however as an Architect I know what's standard.

Please find attached page 184 of Architects Data which requires 700mm + 50mm (frame) for ancillary spaces e.g toilet, stores etc and 900mm for front doors.

Architecture is not about what people use, its about standards and professionalism... thanks again Sir.

@segzy14 you are correct people are now using the height you just mentioned but there is standard set for most of the building component ONLY window thaat doesn't have standard throughout the word windoware only constructed according to the structure or the occupant

However *saydfact* is still correct
I also think may be they can do new edition of standard buildings code again as things are changing everyday

Going through your profile I noticed u worked on the fencing at Shoprite Sangotedo... I headed the team that did the setting out of the mall... I work for the construction company that did the job... U must have worked with the company that initially won the contract.. Nice meeting u.

An architect always make reference architect data, anthropometrics is largely responsible for an architect decision....

Thanks.. The client preferred to have a prayer room there to an ante rm which was the initial concept....

Being a Muslim myself, I understand why... (the prayer room is clients brief - and most Muslim (me inclusive) always plan for one.

& are u proposing concrete fascia for d build based on d ton of reinforcement?
Is the tons of sharp sand & granite for total completion of d building
The filling sand 10 trip of how many tons?
10 look small to me...

1. Its a swampy land close to a natural canal and on a bad soil - so its raft foundation we using.
2. there is no concrete facial, but the rebar are meant for the foundation - finish in the entire project, lintels, columns etc
3. Yes, for total completion
4. In Ajah-Epe axis there is the China truck which is used, its about 40 tonnes; i also noted that that 10 depends on size of tipper used - if she uses the smaller ones, we cld go 20 -30 trips or more

Note: the wood quantities have been reviewed thou.
