Can u imagine Man utd team or first XI before Jose joined? They were playing languid, vision less possession football with average bunch of players. Do u guys think it's that easy to change as an incoming manager? But Mourinho took united to win 3 trophies...what did City win?
Jose has had to drain all the quality he can from this squad...this is as far as he can go with the quality he currently has. Even so United have been brilliant.
City are better I admit, there is absolutely nothing Jose can change about that from a coaching point of view

Give José his own players and allow him refurbish this team...Imagine the club refusing to pay 48million for perisic in the summer.Today Van dijk is sold for 75 mill.
Imagine a combination of Perisic and Lukaku.
I feel Jose has not been given full freedom as regards the squad and transfers.
Fact is their is little quality. Smalling, Darmian, Rojo, young, fellaini, Carrick, lingard, ...show me another club among the top 6 that would have these players in their first XI
