It's time to stop the lies been pedalled by APC and their goons. Bring up lies disguising as facts and feeling smart about it.

They feel it makes them look smart by supporting APC. Been there.

I'm going to tackle progress69 here point by point.

1. 27 state governors were owing back log of salaries as at May 2015 when this government took over hence the bail out funds approved for governors. Despite this bail out funds, many refused to meet their obligations.

Governors always owe salary. Thats what they do. Money was disbursed by the centre. It's not the fault of the centre that these monies are not managed well by the respective states. Besides, it was an election year, and many governors were stocking up monies for re-election. The same governors that had surplus to embark on such frivolous project as a monorail couldn't pay salaries.

After the purported bailout (which by the way was done with monies saved by GEJs administration) 23 governors still owe salaries ranging several months as at June of this year . https://www.google.com.ng/amp/dailypost.ng/2017/06/26/nulge-lists-23-states-owing-salaries-number-months/amp/

2. Federal Government was borrowing to pay 2015 salaries.

This is a big lie. Read that story again. The sharp fall in the price of oil was unprecedented. Against the benchmark of $70/$80 oil feel below that. So the government had to technically borrow around $800 million to finance the deficit. This is not new nor was it peculiar to Nigeria.

Now contrast this to buhari's government that has borrowed over $60 billion since it came into power. Over 40℅ of our budget is deficit and we are running Nigeria with borrowed money.

https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/www.vanguardngr.com/2017/10/buhari-writes-senate-borrow-5-bn-finance-2017-budget/amp/

3. Oil marketers were owed billions, led to a fuel scarcity that paralyzed Nigeria, even banks were closing before time, telecoms operators were sending texts about expected disruptions (never in Nigeria have this happened until 2015)

Another big lie. The fuel scarcity of 2015 which lasted few days by the way, was caused by uncertainty from the point of view of oil marketers of whether their outstanding subsidy claims would be paid before the handover. The incoming buhari then was preaching and shouting that he doesn't know what subsidy was, so the marketers were naturally scared that buhari might not continue paying their outstanding debts.

https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/www.naija.ng/amp/394951-what-caused-the-fuel-scarcity-oil-marketers-open-up.html

Now contrast this with this present scarcity that has lasted for almost one month.

4. Okonjo-Iweala who many people in the opposition believe would have done better or saved the economy warned of tougher times as oil slipped low to about $76.

Dude stop being naive. Oil prices were coming down. That is the same message any leading economist in an oil based economy would give. Brace for tougher times doesn't equal recession. And besides the ECA that GEJ saved up for times like this, he was forced to share b the greedy governors lead by your very own Amaechi.

https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/www.naija.ng/amp/998647-jonathan-shared-part-1bn-oil-savings-amaechi-governors.html

5. Falling Foreign Reserves

Nigeria’s foreign reserves drop to $29.13 billion

The foreign reserve has been falling and rising. It was once stood at $36.3 billion in October of 2014, even with all the subsidies GEJ was paying. And mind you $29.13 billion in 2014 is worth twice that value now in 2017, with our crazy exchange rates, no thanks to buhari.

Let's wait to the end of buhari's tenure to do a proper analysis.

Im not holding a brief for the past admin but This asslicking has to stop this year

I didn't expect this from a supposedly educated individual. Were you abroad when there was series of claims by State Governors(most especially of the opposition parties) about reduced allocation by FG? The Otuoke drunk was obviously losing track on governance thus unnecessary victimization.

This is a big lie. Read that story again. The sharp fall in the price of oil was unprecedented. Against the benchmark of $70/$80 oil feel below that. So the government had to technically borrow around $800 million to finance the deficit. This is not new nor was it peculiar to Nigeria.

This is where you fail to conceal your pre-meditated bias on the subject of discourse. How much was oil sold during GEJ's tenure?

Can you with verifiable sources state the income from oil during
the year 2014 and compare with that of 2016. .Please,Can you kindly acknowledge that your Otuoke hero perfectly masterminded the gross mismanagement of our common patrimony at the expense of the well being of Nigerians or you take your bias view somewhere else!?

Dude stop being naive. Oil prices were coming down. That is the same message any leading economist in an oil based economy would give. Brace for tougher times doesn't equal recession. At this point, nothing needs to be euphemized. . .You are shamelessly ignorant. . .At a $76 per barrel price of oil, with added incomes from other internal and external sources,Nigerians have no business with "hard times" as that will comfortably sustain the economic demands of the country.

Don't bother yourself, it all boil down to choice its left to Nigeria to choose death in the hands of buhari or choose life by kicking him out, after all the voters are living in Nigeria, if they can't make sound decisions from what they are going through and waiting to be brainwashed through propaganda to make wrong choices, they are the ones to live with the consequences.

Swerve, really.

The money borrowed wasn't because we were experiencing hard times. Our economy was growing 5℅ as at 2014.

Hi

The money borrowed was to finance deficit. Let me put it this way for you, our budget was based on a wrong prediction of oil price been above ,$70 . Now when oil dipped below that, the government had to technically borrow money to finance a deficit government. You get it right?

The matter of ECA have been trashed here a million times, how will u keep saving money with someone who was dipping hands into the savings without ur knowledge? When I say you goons are unreasonable, I know exactly what I mean.

Yes the governors were bailed out with monies saved during GEJs era.

Here is buhari in 2015 sharing N1.3 trillion LNG funds with governors as bail out funds.

If Jonathan is that useless, how come he saved up 1.3 trillion naira in LNG account?

OP You should know the liars are clutching on straws and gasping for air when you have repeated on the typo of $60bn and they are still on it without countering your points.

You have countered their lies with verifiable links, they would only come at you with insults..

When I say you goons are unreasonable, I know exactly what I mean.

Yes the governors were bailed out with monies saved during GEJs era.

Here is buhari in 2015 sharing N1.3 trillion LNG funds with governors as bail out funds.

If Jonathan is that useless, how come he saved up 1.3 trillion naira in LNG account?

https://www.google.com.ng/amp/s/www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/186198-buhari-approves-n1-2-trn-rescue-plan-for-bankrupt-states-releases-lng-funds.html/amp

FG saved. Tell me again how much buhari met in the ECA account that he want to debit $1 billion to fight boko haram

Lol. Jonathan saved LNG funds? what is LNG account? I am not understanding, so there is an account called LNG account.
You see the kind of people that want me to engage them? cheesy
