Point taken. What I'm asking is that does the company have any right to do such to a staff?? Its scandalous if you ask me. My friend hasn't been himself for sometime now, his even considering suing the company. Don't know how that will work without any concrete evidence at the moment.
He should go ahead and loose the case plus his job. My point is he should be proud of whatever he does. That will save him the depression.

My Name is Michael and I have a Very insightful and disturbing story to share. I have a Friend who currently works with a leading telecom company and he carefully narrated his present ordeal with them. This company is one of Nigeria's leading Telecom companies. He however admitted that the company is a good place to work in terms of the incentives one receives as a staff, like the Free HMO and Automated monthly recharge. However he spoke at length of his displeasure, on issues such as the maltreatment and lack of regard for junior staffs. Now this is where the issue of lack of integrity comes in. As a Telecom company there are rules the staff are guided by, particularly when it concerns staff line, as a staff of the company under no circumstance are you meant to view a staff's line either their call activity or web content. Sadly this wasn't the case for my friend for some reason his line keeps on being checked and probed and his private life is being brought out into the open. He told me that a colleague confided in him and told him what was happening. The senior staffs in the company according to my friend are the culprit in this shameless act. Now my friend has entered into severe depression because his reputation is being ruined on a large scale through gossips particularly concerning private information on his line. He wasn't expecting such from a company that preached so much about integrity as one of its core values. My friend told me that sometimes he has anxiety attack just by the thought of going to work because the whispers and side talks have grown louder. So my question is what offense did my friend commit for him to be treated this way by a company he held in high regard. I sincerely view this as the height of injustice and such work ethic is very unprofessional to say the least. So this is a warning to all, for all those who might want to work with the "company" do so at your own risk, So I can only pray that you won't have to experience what my friend is currently going through,

Michael.
Yet you didn't give us the name of the company
