I don't think Buhari ever said he's against restructuring, he has always said such should be initiated by the national assembly not a team of randomly hand-picked people who came with the 2014 restructuring document. If NASS deems it fit to pass that document into law today, Buhari has no power than to either sign it or decline assent, after which it becomes a law after 30 days. Or am I missing something?

You are missing a lot.
NASS is currently majority All Poverty Congress, APC so barawo bubu can easily ask them to initiate the Bill, if he is interested in fulfilling his campaign promise on restructuring, not so
Moreover, he does not need to wait for the NASS to initiate the Bill. He can send a Bill to the NASS for consideration, which is what Jonathan did with the PIB that the northern owners of naijeriya blamed him for and started undermining his government with Boko Haram and Chibok girls kidnap.

President Jonathan sends PIB to National Assembly
July 19, 2012

President Goodluck Jonathan in Abuja yesterday forwarded the final copy of the Petroleum Industry Bill (PIB) to the National Assembly, Minister of Petroleum Resources, Mrs Diezani Allison-Madueke had said.

Madueke made this known after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) meeting, noting that what was sent to the National Assembly was the only authentic copy of the bill and that it contained some security features to guard against circulation of fake copies.

According to her, an electronic copy of the document would be available on the website of the Petroleum Ministry yesterday (Wednesday) evening.

Her words, “There is no other Petroleum Industry Bill for 2012. We have seen various adaptations appearing in the media, particularly online, that did not come from the Federal Government of Nigeria and we are unaware of who posted them on these sites.

“There is only one Petroleum Industry Bill 2012 which has been released today for the first time to the National Assembly and will, therefore, be available on the Ministry of Petroleum Resources site by this evening (yesterday) for down-loading.

The only war to restructure Nigeria is through war and the south must win this war so it can control the system of governance

He made the promise, did he not?
Why are you not holding him accountable for the promise made freely?
Why are you shifting attention to the NASS members who made no such promise shocked

When Nigeria government leaders don't do things properly, why would the Nigerian citizens do things properly

If Nigerians the Zoo citizens don't start holding their corrupt government people accountable for their problems(paying taxes for something you are not seen what you are paying for). Buhari and APC government are technically shifting blames on all citizens grin in this 2018.

Nigerians are celebrating in the absent of electricity supplies.

Government officials are busy looting taxpayers citizens in broad daylight through petroleum resources.

Btw: there are no restructuring and REFERENDUM in Nigeria constitution.

But why the little contradiction again?

The Economy needs restructuring from the private sector?

In what particular reference point is the statement headed?

If it's about the sold or privatized public infrastructure, Then was it not the lackadaisical attitude of public servants to work and the nonchalant behavior towards Government infrastructure that leads to the collapse and thus the ultimate sale of some in the past?

We (GOD) mean a situation where maintainance funds are being budgeted for only to be embezzled by a few without deploying such money into what they are meant for?

It is not as if they are not aware of the need for maintenance budgeting whatsoever but a deliberate stealing it is that is counteractive to the provisions.

Even the Government of the day too is guilty of the above to some certain degree.

And that leads us to yesterday's NEWEST WORLD ORDER BROADCAST calling for a sit at home situation/strike especially amongst the Government or Public servants all around the World!

For certainly the WORLD'S CAPITAL CITY - NIGERIA DESERVES A BEFITTING CAPITAL THAT IS CAPTIVATING, ENTICING, INTERESTING AND ALLURING FOR ALL AND SUNDRY TO ALWAYS WANT TO VISIT OVER AND OVER AGAIN BECAUSE OF A MOUTH WATERY AND OFF THE HOOK EXPERIENCE THAT IS OVERWHELMINGLY THE OPPOSITE OF WHAT THEY'VE HEARD AND KNOWN ABOUT NIGERIA.

And thus, Heaven have no CHOICE THAN TO INSTITUTIONALISED THE TITHE/ZAKAT instrument at the topmost level of Governance since THAT IS WHAT WE (GOD) SHALL BE DOING IF WE (GOD) HAD RENEGED ON OUR PROMISE OF STILL RETAINING THE PRESENT POLITICAL, COMMUNIST, CAPITALIST, SOCIALIST AND ROYAL LEADERSHIP STRUCTURES ON GROUND IN DIFFERENT COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD AS THE CASE MAY BE PRESENTLY.

As We (GOD) sees the structural arrangement as a way of easing Our task of Governance indeed and thus, IT IS EXPECTED THAT ALL AND SUNDRY COMPLY OBEDIENTLY LIKE SONS AND DAUGHTERS WOULD TO THEIR FATHER THAT WE (GOD) ARE.

FOR THE INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT IS TO COMMENCE IN EARNEST. MOST ESPECIALLY THE ANTICIPATED 16 LANE DUAL CARRIAGEWAY ROAD NETWORK TO CONNECT LAGOS THROUGH OGUN WITH OYO STATE AND TO THE PILGRIMAGE CENTER IN OYO TOWNSHIP

AS WELL AS THE 8 LANE DUAL CARRIAGEWAY CONNECTING OTHER STATES OF THE FEDERATION TOO NEEDS TO GET ON WITH BEFORE NOVEMBER & DECEMBER.

WHILE NOT ALSO FORGETTING THE RAIL TRSNSPORT SERVICE EXPECTED TO CONNECT AND LINK ALL THE 774 LGAS TOO BUT FOR A START, IT WOULD HAVE TO DO WITH THE PILGRIMAGE/HAJJ CENTERS FIRST AS WAY OF EASING THE EXPERIENCES OF OUR GUEST SPIRITUAL TOURISTS EXPECTED IN THE COUNTRY STARTING THIS YEAR.

THE PILGRIMAGE/HAJJ CENTERS TOO SHALL HAVE A UNIFORM STRUCTURE EACH FOR MUSLIMS AND CHRISTIANS CENTERS IN 4 DIFFERENT LOCATIONS RESPECTIVELY

WHILE THE OPPOSITE RELIGIOUS CENTERS TOO SHALL BE UNIFORM AS WELL BECAUSE THE PILGRIMAGE CENTERS WOULD BE A KIND OF MODERN SUPER TRADE CENTERS SINCE THE MAIN SPIRITUAL EXERCISE WOULD LAST ONLY 5 MINUTES,

MEANING BOTH CHRISTIANS AND MUSLIMS SHALL COHABIT THE ENVIRONMENT AROUND THE PILGRIMAGE CENTERS, THEN THERE IS THE NEED FOR A WORSHIP CENTER FOR THE OPPOSITE FAITHFULS

AS THIS WOULD SEND A STRONG MESSAGE TO MR DONALD TRUMP AND THE ARAB WORLD WHY WE (GOD) DECLARED NULL AND VOID THE FORMER'S PRONOUNCEMENT OF JERUSALEM AS THE CAPITAL OF ISRAEL AND OF COURSE WHY THE STATUS QUO NEEDS TO BE MAINTAINED AND SUSTAINED FOR A PEACEFUL RELATIONSHIP IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND AROUND THE WORLD.

FOR THE ULTIMATUM GIVEN WAS IN RELATION TO THE ABOVE FOCUS. HOWEVER, THE PAYMENT SHALL BE WITHIN THE FIRST QUARTER OF THE SUBSEQUENT YEARS AND NOT NECESSARILY IN JANUARY LIKE IT IS THE CASE WITH THE PIONEER DECLARATION ABOVE.

SO, ONCE AGAIN, HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL HUMANITY IN GENERAL AS WE HAVE ALREADY SET THE CLOCK RUNNING TOWARDS SEEING TO THE IMPROVEMENT AND UPLIFTMENT OF YOUR LIVING STANDARD ALL AROUND THE WORLD AS AGAINST THAT OPPOSED TO PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE, LOVE, KINDNESS, MERCY, FORGIVENESS ETC BUT OF HURT, RAGE, HATRED, GREED, WICKEDNESS ETC BORNE OUT OF NEGATIVITY IN DECISION MAKING AND GOVERNANCE.

THANKS ALL AS YOU ENJOY YOURSELVES AWAY FROM PUBLIC OFFICES AROUND THE WORLD UNTIL GREENLIGHT IS GIVEN SUBJECT TO THE RESPONSES RECEIVED FROM OUR SONS AND DAUGHTERS IN GOVERNMENT THAT THE DECLARATION IS TARGETED AT.

WARM REGARDS.

PROPHET TB JOSHUA

LOVELY UNITARY GOD

Thats what you did in 1966, ruined the working arrangement. Its why we are here now. Ibo ought to recuse itself from all debates on rearrangements. You have done enough damage and your inputs cant be relied on for solution.

You no go leave these frustrated people alone?
Any man who thought of himself as being smarter than others and decided to rub it in, will eventually end up confused.
This is precisely what is happening to these people at the moment.
They will have to UNDO a lot of RUBBISHED they did in the past.
Karma is indeed a bitch.

He is just saying it but behind the door, he and all Hausa/Fulani don't want restructuring....

The North has been a leech to this country since 1902... Nigeria is still an underdeveloped country because of the North... The North has never produced a good Leader and yet they say they are born to rule.... They didn't tell their creator to give them the understanding, knowledge and wisdom to be a leader... Just love for power without any sense of development in all ramifications.....

Restructuring will show the world that the Northern part of Nigeria is not only the reason for the country's woes but also how primitive they are....

I hear you, the present and past Governors and Local government chairmen of your State are imported from probably Sokoto.
Make una restructure, regionalized , rebrand, repackage, disintegrate, regroup, realign and finally beg white to come an recolonize.
As LONG as you people will rather bail out, to go constitute yourself into nuisance in another man's land, instead of holding your elected officials by the JUGULAR to force performance out of them, you will still be speaking political JARGON in the next 50 yeas.
Re: "Buhari Is Wrong, Nigeria Needs Restructuring" - Balarabe Musa by wink2015(m): 5:21pm On Jan 02, 2018
Northern politicians who stand on restructuring does not normally stand with their full feet on restructuring. They seem to have one leg on restructuring and the other leg of their feet outside restructuring.

That is where politicians like Balarabe Musa and Atiku Abubakar stand.

They want restructuring to be implemented but they still want to tie their northern state to the oil of the niger delta regions.

Their idea of restructuring does not want to go beyond the oil money of the southern part of Nigeria.

Atiku Abubakar if made President will still be controlling the oil money in Abuja and be giving stipend to states.

For Nigeria to move forward each of this states that is created by the military administration in the past must look inward especially to their internally generated revenue.
