Honey is a sweet viscous liquid produced from bees. Bees convert nectar into honey by regurgitation, enzymatic action and evaporation and store in honeycombs. Honey gets its sweetness from fructose and glucose and has a relative sweetness as sugar but it is not harmful to the human body.
Honey has been in use since 4,000 BC in cooking, treating wound and cough. Honey can be used to lose weight naturally without any significant side effect and also reduce cardio vascular disease.
If your goal is to reduce your weight naturally and without spending huge sum of money then this article is for you. There are different ways of using honey to reduce weight:
Honey and Cinnamon – Cinnamon is quite effective in reducing weight by preventing unnecessary storage of fat in the body .
Take one tablespoon of cinnamon, one tablespoon of honey and a cup of warm water. Stir it together and drink twice a day.

Honey and lemon juice – Honey and lemon juice are quite important in weight loss diet, both have their properties which is effective in reducing weight by preventing unnecessary storage of fat in the body and preventing the formation of free radicals in the body.
Squeeze two lemons into a cup of warm water and add a tablespoon of honey, stir it together and drink up. The juice can be taken anytime and can also replace juicy and sugary drink in your home.
Honey and warm water – Honey can be taken alone to reduce weight, the anti oxidant properties of honey help in fighting and prevention of free radicals in the body. Honey being a natural sugar provides source of calories. According to the United State Department of Agriculture (USDA), one tablespoon of honey approximately 21 grams contains 64 calories, 17.3 grams of carbohydrate, 0 gram of fat and 0 gram of protein.
Do not mix honey with hot boiling water or cook honey because high-temperature damage the nutrient and catalyst are lost. Two or three tablespoons of honey should be taken in a day; the American Heart Association recommended that women should get 100 calories a day from added sugar and men no higher than 150 calories a day.
Honey should not be given to an infant under 1 year because of honey may contain Clostridium botulism endospores which cause infant botulism.
