MiddleDimension:

that's before peter had that revelation. he had always thought, like the scripture above insinuated, that only those who are physically baptised in jesus, and are members of the christian church and have with their mouth, made confession unto salvation...”, they will be the ones in the christian heaven in the end.

but your jesus, the author and finisher of the christian faith; the one ''in whom all things have their proper places...'', which means he knows better that you and peter. because he knows better that you, and because he saw the error in peter's mind, which is the same you and Oyakhs have, is the reason he showed peter the vission; so that peter would again repeat that prejudice by saying ''nothing unclean has ever...'' and then he would correct him and say ''do not call unclean what i have ALREADY made clean''.

ofcourse when the bible talks about cleanliness in the NT, it s talking about being free of sin, being washed in the blood of the lamb. and here is your messiah, the chief and ultimate judge, saying to you that he has already WASHED CORNELIUS IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB; therefore, he is blameless, whole and enitre standing in the presence of Allah subahana wataallah and he has been decleared the SON OF GOD!

from that story you can remember one of his teachings when he was here with you in flesh; that ''do not judge...''. this is because you don't know what is happening in the realm if the spirit. this is because he has already been WASHED by allah and has become CLEAN.

if you keep on calling him unclean, then you become the accuser of the breathren! because every tongue that rises against him in judgement shall be condemned! no wonder jesus had to warn peter: ''do not call unclean what i have already made clean''. he dosen't want peter to be condemned in judgement.

@joagbaje @ubenedictus whats your say here?

What a bundle of confusion!

Well, let me repeat what I said before...

The bible says Cornelius was instructed to send for Peter who will tell him words by which he and his family will be saved. (Acts 11:14).

How could he have been saved before his encounter with Peter?

Mind you, the above scripture is from Peter's explanation to the church council as to why he dared go to a Gentile's house after he was criticized for going to Cornelius' house...

Acts 11:2-3 So when Peter went up to Jerusalem, the circumcised believers criticized him
and said, “You went into the house of uncircumcised men and ate with them.”

MiddleDimension:

... he showed peter the vission; so that peter would again repeat that prejudice by saying ''nothing unclean has ever...'' and then he would correct him and say ''do not call unclean what i have ALREADY made clean''.

So going by your argument, Peter did not learn the lesson the Lord was teaching him since he still reported in his testimony that Cornelius was unsaved before he met him: by saying he told Cornelius words by which he and his house were saved. grin grin grin

Speaking about being clean/ unclean... This had to do with Israel God's chosen people in relation to other nations. They were to be separate from other nations. Now, here was God sending a Jew to go to the house of an "uncircumcised" Gentile (one who was judged unclean) and alien to God's covenant of promise.

So there was of necessity the need for God to bring this vision to Peter in order that the Gentiles might receive salvation through Jesus Christ and become partakers of the inheritance of God's people.

Please read your bible with understanding ok.
