If a literate person like this man can say this then i give up. Lol! He said yoruba directed all oil companies to have their corporate headquarters in Lagos. Yoruba also directed the people of SS to frustrate the oil companies abi. This man saying trash. What stops the so called State yorubas are stopping to develop to build their own sea port? Yorubas they said we are the ones stopping them from developing abeg help me ask them if their state government don't recieve allocation. 20 Likes 2 Shares |

docadams: You can not cry today that you don't have HQs and businesses after burning up other people's investments, kidnapping investors and business owners at the same time. The people in that part of the country and the SE don't know anything about governing or even ready to govern. They are all incompetent, clueless, not worldly or have any kind of personal sophistication. 15 Likes 1 Share |

Akpabio budgets billions every year for this invisible seaport. Despite the yearly allocation of several billions of naira for the construction of a proposed greenfield deep seaport at Ibaka in Akwa Ibom State by both the State Government and the Nigeria Ports Au[/b]thority (NPA) since 2011, the project has remained elusive, with no evidence of a port being built at the proposed site. 1. Ibaka seaport is not in the FG gazette and there is zero FG budget for it. Meaning the FG doesn't know anything about this seaport officially 2. Akpabio budgets billions for this bridge every year with not even bush clearing or fence erected. Meaning Akpabio pockets free billions every year. ...but who are they blaming? deomelo: In fact, O di kwa too much! Onne Port is highly functional and has witnessed increased growth in shipping traffic, every year for the last 5 years, but the importers from the SE and other regions still prefer to head to Lagos ports, and do business through there. Then they turn round to blame your Yoruba people for the cause of their woes! The late Ojo Maduekwe and the elegant Kemafor Chikwe, were both Ministers of Transport from the SE region, in charge of the sea ports and river ports, under different administrations. They had the power to change the fate of the ports in their region, but did they do so? No! Right now, Rotimi Amaechi is the current Minister of Transport who has the power to change the fortunes of Port-harcourt sea port and also dredge Warri port and Onitsha port, if he so wishes, in order to let large shipping vessels sail through there. Has he given the orders for these things to be done? I don't think so. Yet, his kinsmen from the Niger-Delta will still turn around and blame the Yorubas for the non-functional status of their ports. Onne seaport is there, thriving and functioning well, but will the SE importers use it? No. They prefer to head for Lagos whenever they need to import or export their goods. So whose fault is that? It is well. You Yoruba people need to share the secret of your influence and ability to lock down the ports in other regions with us, so we can copy your footsteps. Maybe, it would help us gain more supporters in the political arena. Who knows? 18 Likes 1 Share |

Why are they crying about something they claim to be the biggest beneficiaries of Shebi you people claim to make trillions from Lagos seaports. Shebi you told us Yorubas don't import. So why are you pointing fingers at Yorubas again since you claim they don't use the seaports. Person dey fight for monopoly over something wey e no dey use? I confuse oh And is the East no more the most developed region in Nigeria? 20 Likes 2 Shares |

docadams: Onne port which is close to the SE region is even working, but they will not use it! If they have not consigned their imported goods to Lagos ports, their market will not sell!! Don't you see? If they are serious about all what they are saying, let all SE importers consign their goods to Onne port for just 6 months, and let us see the result! 8 Likes 1 Share |

deomelo:Frankly , if it were possible for the Oil companies to move their corporate headquarters to Amsterdam, they would . There is really nothing special about Lagos apart from being the closest thing to home for most expatriates. Some work in the ND but have kids in school in Lagos. Port harcourt used to be a very serene and peaceful city with a small town vibe like Portland Oregon. In fact , PH was for me was the best place to live in Nigeria. That is until the Ijaws started their nonsense in port harcourt. Warri quickly followed the PH example I remember when shell moved their non essential staff to Lagos during Abacha regime when the ND started harassing the oil companies. The operation side of things remained and still remains in the ND . Oil companies like Mobil ,National oil, Texaco etc have always had offices in Lagos since like colonial times. They have always had a part of the administrative side of things to deal with local procurement, taxation, government and consular services in Lagos . 2 Likes 1 Share |

oduastates: This is their crude, crass and disgusting thug governor so exactly what are they expecting from this clown beyond restlessness, instability and unfriendly business environment. The unemployment rate in Rivers is the highest in Nigeria, but this joker is so obsessed with fights, friction and executive disorderliness and he's been destabilizing that state for years even when Amaechi was the governor. Remember his atrocities with Jona, his wife and the former commissioner of police they used to fight Amaechi? And this clown used to be the minister of education...smh.. 11 Likes 1 Share |

While you're foolishly crying victimization and Victorious simultaneously, Yorubas are strategizing. Cry cry babies Speaking of ND, you seriously think oil will continue to be its priced value? The blind author claimed Yorubas made oil compainies locate their head offices in Lagos but I can tell you from experience that most of these companies ran out of the ND due to security challenges. And we all know the Yorubas didn't partake of amnesty when some of the ND guys were dropping their arms. I grew up to see this firsthand as it happened. 6 Likes 1 Share |
