That's why the SE and parts of SS want out...so you can do as you please in your region...but you refused despite owning the heaven and the earth...You want everyone to remain in your one Nigeria because you gain from the rot of the nation...no be so? Remember the OP is from SS... 2 Likes |

Obijulius: i am senseless and i disagree with all what they wrote and also your opinion first and foremost Lagos seaport is strategically positioned by location and have easy access into the Atlantic ocean, therefore less fuel spend by ships to reach their destination. secondly, before the Lagos became part of Nigeria n 1914,the Lagos sea port have been a major transport hub for merchant/missionary and colonial officials, after large ship docked in Lagos sea port, small boats were used by colonial officials to reach calabar and rivers thirdly the Lagos seaport is very big and both small and large ship can dock in the port fourthly the lagos sea port is the sea gateway into Nigeria for oil company to be head quatered in the oil producing region then provide the neccessary infrastructure and security, please do not deceive us that major oil companies of the world are headquartered in the area where they produce oil,it is a lie Oil is a federal asset and no state government can impose tax on oil companies without the approval of the federal government The Niger delta is not a good place to do business,it is very unfriendly place business wise and has a high cost of doing business the Niger delta region also has affirmative action for the populance in the oil industry and in education but how many of them are educated enough to control the administrative/management part of the oil organisation most are into the technical part like welder and others if you want to blame, blame your chiefs and kings, they are the one stealing money and slots for their family members and friends, they even sell slots to the higher bidder Pls stop blaming Yoruba people for Niger delta problem, blame all the first class kings, chiefs and state government officials, militant leaders they represent the people and enrich themselves while the Masses of Niger deltas suffer 6 Likes |

Blue3k2: You do know there are several ijaws who come.from areas within the boundary of Ondo State, they are not Yoruba by ethnicity and some of them have full on Yoruba names and speak Yoruba fluently. There were however many Yoruba who partook of the amnesty program but their numbers were little and they were part of a SS gang being the exception not the norm |
