In as much I call the government to intervene

The crises within Fulani and Tiv started long ago

Fulani's are nomadic in nature while Tivs are farmers

So there will always be crises
''The Tiv and Fulani should never fight. At least not go to war. They are blood cousins. According to Tiv chronicles, the Tiv, (a Proto-Bantu ethnic group) came in contact with the Fulani around the 16th or 17th century as they migrated into Nigeria. The Tiv established farms and kept their own cattle (Muturu) that were restricted around the Tiv homes. The Fulani on the other hand were nomadic herdsmen. They had a symbiotic relationship, as the Tiv produced food for the Fulanis while the Fulani served as standing army to defend the Tiv against invading tribes. Over time they intermarries and considered themselves inseperable.'

Tiv and Fulani parted ways over the Tiv complaints that the larger populated Fulani were marrying all Tiv daughters, leaving the Tiv with fewer daughters to propagate their own identity and group. They agreed to part as friends and cousins. The Tiv called the Fulani Upul, and the Fulani called the Tiv “Munchi” the nickname they gave the Tiv after an incident involving a Fulani household. The Fulani men had gone south with their cattle during the dry season to pasture. After several months they returned home to find the women they had left behind under Tiv supervision pregnant. When the Fulani met his Tiv cousins they admitted that they indeed were responsible. ’Munchi’ they admitted. Since that time, the nickname Munchi has been the favourite joking nickname that the Fulani gave to the Tiv. In agreeing to part as friends, the Tiv and Fulani elders made a treaty to live in peace as cousins. This treaty has been observed on both sides with great care. It is encoded in Tiv and Fulani social rituals.......

The crisis started on 23rd June, 2001. Mr Iortim Umande, an unarmed Tiv farmer found Fulani cattle eating up his crops. When he tried to drive the cattle out of his farm, the Fulani took out his sword and killed him.''

"I have no pity for the fools in Benue who chose a known terrorist over a gentle leader in 2015."

The above statement was made by a certain slowpoke on this forum. Sadly, we have a multitude of similar idiots on this forum who out of their inability to outgrow their 2015 election loss trauma, have turned themselves into despicable social misfits. They sit in caves and are totally ignorant of the fact that Fulani militias ever existed before 2015. According to their manifold wisdom, everything is about 2015 elections and everything must be linked to 2015 elections no matter how foolish it may seem.

See this level of hypocrisy.

It started during GEJ time yet he is still blaming Buhari.
Hypocrisy really runs in their Veins.

It started then, yes!

But, by who?

In opposition to whose government (if we want to start all those kind of blindly illogical political juxtapositions)?

It started, in which region?

Who or which tribal distribution sustained most casualties as it's first targets?

BH/Fulani guys have not been making strikes in the core s.s, GEJ's base. So, is it ND creek militants who now coordinated N.East insurgency?

Did GEJ raise them or was his adminstration ultimately a victim of their efforts?

With all thrower established links to Alshabab, ISIL etc, and the antecedents of almost every Islamic president of yoking Nigeria to Organization of Islamic Countries (oic); simple-minded GEJ or PMB & his band of Islamic northern oligarchs and retired-generals juntas, who is the more culpable suspect as Fulani herdsmen sponsors?

And, don't forget knowledge, nativeness and adaptability to your terrain is always crucial advantage in guerrilla warfare; so, who should more pick the blames for Fulani attacks?

Beyond GEJ, sectional crisis have always being a feature of Lugardian Nigeria's forced diversity experiment.

Laying blames where that rightly belong will help us better than just bickering and trading semantics.

Fulani herdsmen have been on a killing spree and appear so cockily indifferent; don't you think?

one you don't know who and who constitute the killer herdsmen!two these killer herdsmen you don't know exactly when they will attack.three by the time an attack is on, the communities just have practically nothing they can do even if they carry arms because the essence of the attack by these killer herdsmen is to carry out a guerilla attack and destroy as much as pratical within the shortest time and then escape through the vegetations

Taaa. You want to use the herdsmen farmer clashes as an excuse to steal other people's Land for your unviable Biafra. It won't work because everyone can see through your plans. Thieves!

Murderers and bloodsucking demons! You will all die miserable deaths! Steal which land? It is ur dirty plans to destroy and overrun the indigenous Benue people that have been exposed!

one you don't know who and who constitute the killer herdsmen!two these killer herdsmen you don't know exactly when they will attack.three by the time an attack is on, the communities just have practically nothing they can do even if they carry arms because the essence of the attack by these killer herdsmen is to carry out a guerilla attack and destroy as much as pratical within the shortest time and then escape through the vegetations

taraba terrain is totally different from that of Benue! Fulani cattle rearing in taraba is not profitable. taraba is a transit for Fulani cattle rearer moving from Adamawa section to south east and south south. So you have very little foreign of fulani stock in taraba.two taraba is split into protected zones wukari, donga, takum are the juicy areas but also the most dangerous for the Fulani because the are surrounded by tiv, jukun, chamba, echen, kutep all tribes with thin these zones are warrior tribes and their settlements were designed to reflect that philosophy.
gashaka has river flies and that means their cows population will not grow as they want.jalingo is state capital, zing is worse for the Fulani.
Now compare these with what we have in Benue where the whole Benue plateau is a level plain green field with many areas are of security radar network because they are farm settlements.
