In other words APC/buhari are now God n only they can guarantee an Igbo presidency abi?,OK to be double sure let the Igbo's ask buhari/APC for a written, signed n publicly displayed agreement for an Igbo president in 2023 before the elections next year n see what will be the response, desperation is what makes a person or people vulnerable to deception, Igbo's should think deeply.

Is Nigeria practicing DEMOCRACY or ELECTIONCRACY? Only a fool will believe arrangement. Come 2022 a penultimate year to election you will definitely hear different stories. Politics is about interest not ethnicity/region or religious beliefs. Igbo will put their score card on the table and campaign not straight jacket thing. APC will produce Igbo candidate while new party will produce another candidate outside Igbo, there u c political game

You people don't understand igbos at all. We dont really care about an igbo being President. It is our politicians that interested in that stuff.

Common to go and register for voters card dey hard us. To go out and vote on election day na wahala. An average Igbo man needs a president that will provide a conducive environment for him to thrive in his business.

For a people who don't depend on their fellow human to dash them money for food, they are not looking at Igbo President as their saviour. They are not even crazy about it. Na una dey worry una head about it.

Nwanne, you have spoken well.

I hardly comment in the Politics section but I want to quickly point out that Jonathan's own people betrayed him. Amaechi et. al. did him in so it will be wise not to rest your oars on these Judases.

The PEOPLE have ALL the Power . We should join heads together, make our choice and stand with him.

Where were you when Jonathan and his wife started harassing Amaechi? They even got him suspended from the PDP in dictatorial fashion and you expect him to stay with them and support their second term ambition? Because he is from SS?

After using and dumping the Yorubas it is time to romance the Igbos. In the marriage called Nigeria, the north is the husband, the south(east, south-south and west) are wives competing for the husbands attention. The south-south is the beautiful and rich wife. The northern minority are maids.

Igboland has developed without an Igbo president. In fact you guys were set to zero after the civil war thereby giving the rest of the country a head start but you guys through hard work and resilience have caught up with the rest of the country without the intervention of the federal government. The biggest mistake the Ibo's can ever make would be to support a Buhari presidency. If Buhari wins please let it not be because of ibos. God in the very near future will grant you your own country if that is what you guys want. God bless you all.

Why are so many people naïve to believe Buhari will handover to a Southerner? I do not think Buhari can hand over power to a Southerner. I believe Buhari can never willingly hand over power to an Igbo person.
If any body believe that buhari would hand over to an Igbo man the person is day dreaming, He would prefer to hand over to Niger republic man than Igbo man ,he has done it before as military head of state he voted for Niger man above his own country igbo man, and what has changed now? nothing. look at his appointments apart from the ones the constitution approves for each state Igbo man wouldn't have gotten any appointment in this buhari regime. nonsense they cannot deceive us.

Anyone who knows anything about Nigeria's politics will agree with you.

Ndigbo must eschew hate and ethnicity embrace strategic alliances that will help them actualize the Presidency.

If they fail, the SW is already strategically positioned to take it.

Asking them to eschew hate, is like asking the sun to set in the east. It is ingrained in them. They enjoy blaming others for whatever befalls them. And the mods here on NL, are a party to their actions.

There are some prejudiced and biased mods like Afam4eva and Myndd44, who have their clique of posters that they allow to get away with anything. These posters can post remarks riddled with ethnic slurs like Afonja, scratch face, ewedu goblin, brown roofs etc, (along with tribal marks) in their efforts to disparage or discredit an entire tribe. These mods look away.

But when anyone responds to a member of their clique, by choosing similar uncomplimentary words to describe them or their tribe, they are quick to slam a ban on that respondent, but they often let the main culprit responsible for the initial onslaught of words, to go scot free.

Just let somebody say some uncomplimentary things about IPOB and Kanu, and see how they quickly hit him with a ban, that stretches for several weeks. But they will always leave those who insult other tribes alone. It has become a pattern.

Seun' sees it all and does nothing. That is why his mods get away with such prejuded decisions. Who was it that called them Ministers of witch-hunting? I am beginning to see the person was right, about them.

Right!!!!
Used and dumped like piece of tissues.

I wonder what happened to their delusional "political sophisticated"

How can a group claim "politicial sophisticated" couldn't see the hand writing on the wall yet the two southern region that aren't going around self crediting themselves "political sophisticated" saw it from 20 miles away. How hilarious.

Personally, I hope SS and SE vote Buhari in come 2019 as the "political sophisticated" ones wanted. Let them enjoy the messiah sai buhari. There sole hatred for Johnthan was simply because he favored SS and SE and not them. So since they put such disagree in thinking they'll somehow deceive him and instead gave themselves a suffering mess. Let them enjoy him; Afterall, sai buhari is "not sidelining them like johnthan" grin

That will be a dumb thing to do,because the consequence of the outcome will affect everybody irrespective of the tribe, beside its Jonathan that betrayed the yorubas after helping him to power, through doctrine of necessity and in the election proper ,even Jonathan have reconciled with obj, those using this line wants to divide the south to favour buhari, it is divide and rule and the north is very adept in that , but we will all have a task to jointly send buhari back to daura, after that the yorubas and Igbos can resume their hostilities, but now there is task at hand that must be done.

Yorubas must enjoy Buhari's 8years except they publicly apologize to the Igbos and accept that the Igbos are wiser than them.
