A country where the citizens are not protected from herdsmen or other rampaging elements talking about protecting animals. I am sure d ministry is both daft and totally ignorant of what endangered species are... First and foremost have dey told Nigerians what those endangered species are?? Secondly is there a unit in d ministry dat is in charge with recovery and onward protection of those species to their more natural habitat or a more controlled habitat for dem.. Naturally dey are supposed to map out areas where these species are likely to b found and create a no-hunting zone or sort of reserve. How many jingles or other forms of orientation have dey done to sensitize Nigerians on what species are endangered and how to capture dem... All we know how to do in dis parts is jus talk and make noise...

The proscription is targeted at endangered animals, not all animals.

You may consult google it to find out the meaning of 'endangered' or better still, engage the service of a professional zoologist.
