Today we conclude our exposé on the goat nature in the sheepfold. If any of these characteristics describe you, receive the Father’s correction and turn from a wrong road.

3. Goats disobey instructions: Goats are always doing their own will. They do not follow instructions. When sheep fraternize with goats, they die cheaply. It is important that this truth be understood because it can affect you as a sheep anywhere you are on earth. The first level of relationship between the shepherd and the sheep is not feeding but leading.

Sheep that obey instructions remain in safety, but the disobedient nature of goats make them susceptible to the devil’s attacks. The devil delays his attack until your spirit is in a position that you cannot handle what he is bringing your way. The pastor will not force you; it is the sheep that is to follow.

4. Goats don't follow the leader-sheep: A goat will not follow the shepherd (the leader), he will follow a goat like himself. Goats are not harmful to the sheep, but sheep that company with goats endanger their own lives. Goats are a danger to the pasture, they scatter the ground and muddle-up the waters for the sheep. This is why they also need shepherding, but they do not realize it. When you get to a church, God sets the church pastor as the person you are to follow; don’t let another member of the church distract you from the example God has set in front of you.



PRAYER: Lord, deliver me from every tendency of a goat. I refuse to be a stumbling in the sheepfold in Jesus’ name. Amen.
