Ethics, Values And Morality In Nigeria Over #BBN by Stevecyes(m): 7:18pm On Feb 24, 2018
Well in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking at this matter in a different way and without fighting and by trying to make it clear, and by considering each and every ones opinion, I honestly want to ascertain the functional mission and goal of this programme that is currently showing in the air & trending on the internet tagged Big Brother Nigeria #BBN.

The third edition of the Big Brother Nigeria reality show is currently live and the frenzy on the internet has just begun.

Different people watch the show for different reasons, but one question that begs for answer is - what exactly is there for one to learn from the show?

Is it all about entertainment or some gathering of young people who go to the big screen to show & display their bodies and make erotic advances at one another in the public glare.

Does the show really encourage talents like we were made to believe?

Before you jump in and give a plethora of reasons why one should tune in to other channels, you really should bear in mind that the noise from fans of the show wouldn't let one sleep with two eyes closed.
Besides, for begging out loud, the key purposes of any show is to either educate, enlighten or entertain.

Where exactly is the education, enlightment or entertainment in the Big Brother House because for all I care, it is an avenue to display lewd behaviours that can only make people get worse than they were before watching it.

Perhaps I live in a different planet where it is difficult to understand why twenty adults would be gathered in a premises for over three months without any particular focus.

Not to sound like a spoiler, we all do love to be entertained but the organizers of the show seriously need to do more to bring together people who have talents and skills that will make the world better and not some Hot and juicy adults who could barely wait for a day before they get into the shower to kiss and smooch each other like it were some raunchy competition in the eyes of the public knowing fully well that people re stalking them on the television.

The last edition of the show became more like some pornographic show at some point with some housemates denying their families just to have a taste of another's genitals.

If it were truly an entertainment focused and socially driven, why would they be allowed to get that close hence touching one another in the most erotic possible ways in the sight of the viewers.

Who didn't see all the unclothedness that were displayed by housemates in the last show?
Of course everyone did, even those who are not interested were interrupted by the sight on the social media/media criqs because hyperactive people couldn't resist the urge to share them all over social media and in some news tabloids

Countless times, housemates were caught on cameras having sex, kissing, smooching, giving each other blow jobs and engaging in all led sorts.

I'm even more appalled by the response of this non educative, non enlighten these TV show has trend-ed in the social media by its followers to an honest observation.

Since the show has gained the needed traffic, the organizers could leverage on it to encourage talents to get into the house rather than some randy few who get into the house to make exude displays like a dog on heat.

Not like anyone should dictate to adults what to do with their lives though, but we really expect more.

We should stood a ground of
integrity and morality and the true African culture of decency cos that's what we were thought and made to comprehend by our hounorable parents during our early foundational & fundamental learning curve in our lives.

Some may say that this guy is not trendy or sofisticated but the truth is, I'm very much knowledgeable and exposed than you can ever imagined but the truth is that i am a devoted lad on ethicality and a conventionalist with norms of ethics too.

Sometimes, it is not enough to join the frenzy, we need the lessons from such reality shows to make better people in the society.

But Here we re as a nation, the system is not working, the economy is not appreciating and it is drowning steadily, the govt we currently have is potentially the worst we have ever witnessed in our dawn history as a nation.
The president we have is the only president in our recent memory that has ever brought recession back to back in his only two administration to our nation.
Never have any other president in the history of this nation ever took us to a recessive economy and governance,
and some folks are there drooling over big brothers Nigeria #BBN.

Some Nigerians are there raging at Mr Trump calling Africa and by extension Nigeria a #shithole.
To my precise and honest assessment ; he was just saying the obvious fact.

Nigeria is currently part of that shithole country.
For avoidance of prejudices, i am not bigoted neither am I bigotry motivated nor ethnically and religiously inclined.

What we should need and crave for at this moment is just good governance, it doesn't matter where the president comes from or will come from; whether in the north east, South west, North West, South south or south East geopolitical zone of these country...

To be honest, Buhari is too sick and unfit (both mentally, physically, technically, academic wise and even morally) to lead a sick nation like Nigeria cos Nigeria to be honest is presently sick.
Forget the word Mr integrity or Mr principle they gave to him; it's all farce and vague. It holds no water at all.

If some of the country citizens were not sick, how could they in their right senses vote a despot, brainless and myopic individual to rule over them in this era of knowledge, advancement and sofistication of great innovated minds. It's a shame and quite pathetic.

Buhari did not request for new oil refineries for states,
Buhari did not request for international airport for states,
Buhari did not request for power plant for states,
Buhari did not request for World Bank assisted projects for states.
Buhari is not requesting for an improves education, health care, good roads, and security in your States.
What Buhari and some bigoted northern leaders are requesting for your states is "Cattle Colonies. There we go Nigeria.
This is called reverse psychology to play on your psyche.
A government that has spent two years without beginning/completing any capital project. And it’s citizens just goes about their normal lives talking #BBN slurs as if all is well.

Money from Taxes- disappeared,
Recovered Loot - gone
Recovered Abacha savings (according to Buhari) - gone
Oil royalties - gone
Borrowed money- used to fund Boko Haram amnesty and sponsor Fulani herdsmen.
And you are still calling him Mr integrity.
Let me not say in Achebe's voice "there was a nation" but Mr Trump thanks for speaking the truth by reminding us what our nation currently is; which is #SHITHOLE.

We have been recolonized.
After the British gave us our independence, we lost it to some bigoted northern leaders b/c they were born to rule while the rest re their slaves, now we've lost it to cows.
Cows has now become first class citizens under Buhari where we have now obviously become expendable over cows.
This is no more colonization, but cowlonization.
The good news is we can get back our independence and restore the dignity of Nigeria if we vote wisely.
Let's make Nigeria gr8 again.
We re a nation not a cowlony.
