Gravitated away from encouraging daughters to persue academia and careers instead the focus is looking for a rich man to set you up for life without contributing anything. Look at the music videos what’s the current theme in most of them? When mothers know their daughers don’t work yet she has material gains that far exceed what they can provide yet they don’t question the source. For some women a man is an actual career. That’s what their goals are to have a provider by any means necessary.
