Indications have emerged that a Catholic Priest, Reverend father Patrick Henry Edet, who dumped priesthood sometime last year has taken a wife barely one year after his renouncement. The ex-priest who served at the Eman Uruan Diocese, Uruan Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom announced his resignation publicly during his Wednesday morning radio show, ‘Grace and Inspiration’ on Planet 101.1 FM, Uyo. He said: “From today henceforth, I cease to be a Catholic Priest, in my spirit and in my soul. I forgive those who will criticize me, I live for God and I seek freedom for my soul.
