The usually acclaimed political influence of our northern elders forum has been called to question as a result of the activities of Boko Haram and other unwholesome criminalities.
In the mist of all the kidnappings,armed robbery, destruction of farmlands in northern region of the country, the elders in their right disposition,have not risen up to the occasion just as their counterparts of Afenifere and ohaeneze ndigbo did and are still doing.
Why are they not doing the needful in curtailing the ever increasing youth restiveness in their regions.
