i saw 300 good but not my kind of movie.I liked the way they shot it like a comic, it gave it an authentic feel

but as a classics major it was hard to watch, so many things were wrong but an awesome movie none the less

well actually the movie isn't about how the 300 spartans defeated the persian army, it is about 'true' events where 300 spartans held off the persian army while awaiting for the rest of greece to unite and they together held off the persians, blah blah blah

300. yeh, cool effects but not all that WOW as some of y'all would have us think. storywise the movie is flimsy, but the action is gorgeous, beautifully choreographed. i hate the rock music in the background and i find the sepia tone and hyper-real digital background silly. it worked in sin city but plain awful in 300. cutting from war to diplomacy was boring, and they all died in the end.

my opinion.

pathfinder will be a good epic movie too

300 is too tight

The film is da bomb, any day, any time. Try to watch it in the Cinemas before watching all them pirated VCDs and DVDs to appreciate the film.

300 grossed $70million the first weekend being the largest so far in March but Troy grossed about $133million in total so i think its goin to beat troy.Money aside this was a very good movie the souind effects the storyline the "matrix" like moves and battles against the persians with a small army of 300 great creativity(targeted at the Iranians tho LOL!!)

the greatest thing about the movie are the words. .
the words and lines of the movie is out of this world.

"spartans, tonight we dine in hell"

the movie 300 was amazing awe some,the blood spill in kill bill,gladitors,troy is nothing compared to 300 s.my girlfriend really enjoyed guess the blood spill was a sort of afrodisiac for us cos dat night will remain unforgetable for both of us. i watched it on the 11th wednesday funny enuf was my birthday like bluenubian said i left the cinema(city mall) screaming "spartans tonight we will burn in hell"

i found the movie very inspiring. A great show of bravery. Its worth the time and money.

GAWD! I'm an action junkie, and 300 took action to another level, dats my movie of the year!
