I hate BBN, I hate the hype. I hate the fact that majority of Nigerian youths could care less about the state of their own country. I hate the fact that my female colleagues are always talking about it and can't even relate when I try to talk to them about Nigeria.

American youths watch reality shows too, go to parties and stuff but are very knowledgeable about the state of their nation, their history and their polity.

Congratulations for having a PVC but acquiring a PVC alone is not enough to make any difference as you'll end up voting the lesser of two evils presented as candidates by the political parties. It is not enough to crave for good governance and a desire to wrest power from the old order when the average Nigerian youth would rather spend time online uploading selfies and ogling unclad entertainers than join a political party and participate actively in the electoral process.....

We no see am to collect anywhere around. And it is also very difficult to obtain if one finds where to get it. I for one desperately want it but I am unable to get it.

After i wasted a whole day trying to get my PVC, got tossed from council to council, I was eventually told to go to INEC office in Yaba to start another processing of my PVC. Who has time for all that shitz?

You can only compare voting on big brother naija to collection of PVC if latter is as stress free as the former.

It is simple. Voting on bbn is electronic( sms, and data) while elections isn't. Secondly most votes are not counted so there is no need stressing myself to queue when the results have being manipulated. Thirdly most politicians are the same. They share on thing in common which is greed.

PVC has not and will not change anything. If u ve a PVC to elect new set of looters operating in same system u get same result.

It is a global issue. Go look at the voting age demography of brexit, same thing happened. The youths abstained.

The solution is to make voting compulsory for ages 18-50. But before that can be done, Nigeria needs a central unified citizen data and information centre. Voting needs to be automated too so that as a person votes, the action is automatically added to their voting record.

But those who benefit from things being the way they are will not let it happen but we will keep pressing on and one day Nigeria will be what we hope it should be.

What Nonso said isn't far from the truth. The political parties in Nigeria encourage cross carpeting hence bad eggs from sinking ship are in the moving train.The one I managed to vote for couldn't revive the economy well instead his party resulted to blame game
