A Nigerian lady on Twitter, has shocked many with her narrative of how the parents of a 14 year old raped victim was forced to marry her rapist.

Twitter user, Habeeb took to her page to share how the parents of the rape victim forced her to marry her rapist instead of pursuing the case in court – according to Habeeb, the girl’s parents had initially sought justice for their daughter, but moments later, they had a change of heart.

This change of heart according to Habeeb, came because the 14 year old girl is now pregnant and the family doesn’t want their story to be heard by the public.

Habeeb shared of another story akin to this one as she said the parents of a girl child had monetary settlements with the parents of the rapist.
