Nigeria’s Keystone Bank Limited has been honored in faraway United States for its efforts at empowering women entrepreneurs through its different banking packages created for them.

The award, the organizers noted is in recognition of Keystone Bank’s leadership role as in expanding access to funds for women entrepreneurs in Nigeria and the rest of Africa where it operates.This feat they further said has brought about unprecedented growth to the business sector and by extension, the nation’s economy and that of Africa.

The lender was conferred with The Global Impact Leadership Award – Best Bank In Women Entrepreneurs Empowerment Category.

Present to receive the award was the Group Managing Director/CEO, Keystone Bank Limited, Mr. Obeahon Ohiwerei, who did not hide his joy at the event.

The ceremony was the Africa Women Forum (AWF) held In New York, US.

This MD should focus on the rights things. I hear he has been sacking staff without paying them their entitlements. He is very high handed to staff. Receiving awards in New York when you are not treating staff well is a waste of time. There are no customers when you pass Keystone branches, focus on these things and not New York fake award. Why must you even, waste money that you do not have to travel to New York? Does that make business sense? Is the board sleeping? I beg second base Joor.

..wow the one time bank PHB that use to be the best. is now deregulated. one thing i like about the bank is it swiftness. if you go there to get everything done quickly because no much customers unlike other bank. they don't have many customers but they sure have rich business man banking with them.
