Nairalanders Please Help by emazy10(m): 11:19pm On Mar 31, 2018
Good day to you all. I scored 261 at the recently concluded utme but I made a mistake of choosing the wrong subject combination for Biochemistry. I choose Maths,Eng,Phy6 and Chemistry choosing FUNAAB as my most preferred institution. I want to change my course to Computer Engineering and my waec combination seems to be messing with me
data processing B2
Maths A1
eng b3
phy b3
chm b2
bio c4
agric c4
Civic B2
econs c4

Now I want recommendations of Varsities that can accept me for computer Engineering.

Thanks in advance for your help.

You can't change to Computer Engineering due to your jamb combination for Biochemistry. I guess you did English, Biology, Chemistry, Physics in jamb, while Computer Engineering needs English, Maths, Chemistry, Physics

I recommend the Federal University of Technology, Akure.

You have a good score and I believe you'll easily beat the 25 questions for 30 minutes usually set by FUTA for her putme.

You have a complete o'level here, so you're good to go!

Federal university, Oye-Ekiti is also a good option.
As at last year, putme was not conducted but aggregate of jamb and o'level.

You'll require just the five relevant subjects which are maths, eng, phy, chem and bio. You have cool grades, so you're good to go. The school is relatively less competitive too.
