Lagos-Ikorodu expressway is one of the most popular roads in Lagos state. It also qualifies as one of the busiest roads in Lagos if not in the entire nation.

Today, millions of commuters travel along this very crucial expressway. This road serves as one of the roads that leads into and outside the states.

However, the road has never always been this busy.

wetin happen, the road lanes has shrink

It was better in the 70's

imagine someone buying a plot there in 1947.

They should reopen and even dualize the transatlantic route cos it seems to offer better life in future than this useless enclave.

And the difference between now and the 70's is nothing much. Perfect illustration of the country

I prefer the middle to the recent. But all the same Nigeria still remain a zoo

It doesn't look very different. After all the seeming hype on the Ikorodu road, I expected the road network would be wider. I passed during the holidays and I could still see the reason why the Mile12 was still clogged. And those annoying spaces wasted the planted trees...geez

The only different is the quality of the camera used to snap the picture

The people in that green tortoise car, where are they now? How about all the other people in all those cars?

The old road is better, except for the picture quality.
