I can see our own Delta state senator Obarisi Omo-Agege among the senator who visited President Muhammadu Buhari in his native Daura, Katsina state residence.

So Senator Omo-Agege just take style go know Buhari home for Daura. That is a kind gesture from Senator Omo-Agege and the entourage of senators of National Assembly.

But Why is Buhari not visiting the Niger Delta region to hold town hall meeting with oil producing community. These are people their God given land is devastated by acid rain from gas flaring, pollution of fishing rivers, pollution of farms land etc.

Go to Ogoni land, Ijaw land, akwa Ibom, delta state, Edo state, Rivers state, Bayelsa state, Cross Rivers etc
Oil producing community in the Niger Delta region all have one sad tale to tell who ever care to listen that their community has been destroyed with the massive oil and gas exploration without any clean up or compensation going to these community.

Senator Omo-Ajegunle, as our Yoruba brothers and sister use to call him should please invite President Buhari to any of these Niger Delta oil devasted town so that he can see for himself what massive oil exploration is causing oil producing community.

Just a few days ago Vanguard Newspaper ran a report on how acid rain from gas flaring in oil producing community is destroying the community eco system.

President Buhari feign not to be aware of this calamity but he is having the pleasure to approve 1 billion USA dollars to buy fighting equipment for the Nigerian army to fight Book Haram and other form of insurgency.

Who knows the APC led federal government might divert the 1 billion USA dollars arms procurement funds towards funding 2019 electioneering campaign as Buhari is highly desperate for a second term even though he has not publicly indicated interest to contest the 2019 Presidential election.
