If he wants to make money, he shouldn't cut his dicck off. I heard it is very profitable for business. Besides the genital transformation usually leaves them not as happy as they expected, because men can still tell the difference between a natural one and an engineered one.

Transgender and Transexual are not the same though. Wanting to be a woman and living as a woman being the main distinction.
And no not all Africans are ignorant - some are well informed
. Even the informed ones,a good number of times choose to embrace ignorance.

I am well aware that psychotherapy is not a cure ( For everyone) but it is a recognised treatment which is not the same as a cure . Gender dysphoria is what it was reclassified to from Gender Disorder it is in the DSM and in the the ICD 10 as well which classifies it as a mental illness
Gender dysphoria is not itself a mental illness, it's the distress that comes with it. Most people with gender dysphoria face depression due to identity problem and the society they are, they are high risk of mental illness. This is the reason psychotherapy is very important for them.

From Wikipedia,

The American Psychiatric Association, publisher of the DSM-5, states that "gender nonconformity is not in itself a mental disorder. The critical element of gender dysphoria is the presence of clinically significant distress associated with the condition.

Let’s agree to disagree on this
We use both diagnostic books and to get treatment that has to be diagnosed by a psychiatritist
You stick to Wikipedia
I will stick to what happens in daily life.

. Not as much as it is factual,my dear. That's the reason why you see some people accept something as the truth in certain cases but reject that same thing in other cases. It's pretty simple: If they don't understand it,then they term it as false regardless of the weight of evidence it wields. The rest are just dogmatic from the onset, reason they fail or more truthfully, refuse to ACCEPT it.

You still do not get how the diagnosis work, you're talking as if all people with this condition are having mental illness.

There are three specialist for this condition: psychiatrist, psychologist and psychotherapist.

The difference between your claim and my claim is that, I provided a source for it which Wikipedia linked to medical source, you have not provided any source to your claims.

We don’t use Wikipedia as a diagnostic tool. In order to get treatment - especially hormone and gender reassignment it is done by a psychiatrist.
This is why gender reassignment is not paid for by most insurance companies in the USA because the USA uses the DSM which insurers use
Take what you will from that.
We reached an impasse

Nah, many men are into trannies these days and these women are super rich. I used to work at a plastic surgeon's office in New York and his main clientele were these women. That surgeon was like a body engineer, the work he has done on these women.... Lord!!! I just pity foolish men who are carried away by beautiful things only.
When they come into the office, a person who has not really known what trannies look like would be highly fooled, but I could tell straight away who they were. They usually drove BMWs, Mercedes Benzs, Porsches and wore the latest designer apparel. Their boyfriends usually pay for their surgeries and lifestyle but I realized most of them still had their diccks on. So I asked one of them, and she told me it was "bad for business". I was just shocked grin

I even saw one of our clients in broad daylight with one guy trying to toast her. I was just laughing in my mind like "See mumu.... You just saw fine face, big breast and big bum bum and your dicck dey stand, but you do not know you are chasing your kind. " grin grin grin

. grin grin Interesting story. I wouldn't term any guy that sleeps with a tranny as gay sha cos there're so many beautiful transsexuals out there who one wouldn't even know are until they hit the bedroom, just like you said. But by that time, the hormones would have already taken over and you're like 'let me just try it,what's the worst that could happen?' grin grin. Trust me there're a lot of crazy stories out there cheesy. It's only Nigerian and mostly black transsexuals that I've seen are ugly/unattractive and I really don't know why.

salvationproject:
Greatest fellow Nigerians, President Muhammadu Buhari have put up the mandate to us to make Nigeria great again by declaring his intention for second term.
This man means we'll for Nigerians,
He entered office in 2015:
1. And since 2016,boko-haram became handicap to attack.
2. And now Looters are afraid of the name Nigeria.
3. And all is set for the payment of 5000 to all Nigerian youths.
4. And now bag of rice that was N22000 is N5000.
5. And now though dollar is high, it decreasing rate shows that in the next quarter of the year, 000.01 naira will be equal to 1 dollar and perhaps people have never been this rich in other regime compare to our great PMB regime.
6. Millions of employment everyday as those who were even sack are now getting more better jobs.
7. No strikes in our tertiary institutions again.
8. Great infrastructures now showing up every now and then both in the SS, SE, NE, NW, NC, SW... Just name it.
9. Improvement in public health care that even the president son and family are now attended to medically in Nigeria.
10. Nigeria is now written with integrity all over the world that if we can extend PMB tenure to 2023 and even add more years, a permanent seat in the UN is sure for us.

Let support this man of change forever.

If you prefer beauty over authenticity, that's your preference I guess. Different strokes for different folks.

When they first start their transition, they don't look really good. But as they get more feminizing surgery, especially from a great surgeon, they end up looking very good. Most trannies don't want to bring unnecessary scrutiny and attention to themselves because of hate crimes. They just want to look as natural and beautiful as possible.

.

Authenticity is quite relative if you look at it painstakingly. Take it or leave it,the first thing that attracts a man is beauty either facially, body wise or even both if the guy is lucky but it doesn't necessarily keep him. It's the magnetic force but not the holding force. The trannies know this(they've been men before, remember?) and that's why they try their possible best to get those physical aspects in proper place. This though is for those who will still be attracted to men. Happiness is a factor but other things come into place, more importantly so too.
