Corruption in the Nigeria Police has reached an alarming level. Nigerian Policemen are growing fat extorting billions of naira everyday from Nigerians. Nigerian Police officers are registering different kinds of banks using billions of naira extorted everyday from people. For example Musiliu Smith, Tafa Balogun and other retired policemen own banks. Criminals are infiltrating the Police and using police uniform to comit serious crime. Senior Policemen are sleeping with female policemen. Even the Police IG himself was caught pantsdown. The IG a married man impregnated two female police officers. When the scandalous affair became exposed to the public he then tried to secretly marry the women. We have criminals policing honest people in Nigeria. Many People have been killed because they refused to bribe the police. Many Nigerian Policemen now help corrupt politicians to launder billions of dollars of stolen public fund. Policemen help treasury looter to hide the money, to frustrate the EFCC prosecutors and to harass and even kill witnesses. Senior Police Officers are joining cults with politicians so that the politicians will help them achieve their ambition of becoming IG and so that they can steal money and launder it or extort freely from people without fear. That is why policemen are bold enough to extort money from people in broaddaylight in the full glare of the public and get away with it.

Same thing happened to a friend at ring road last week, after assaulting him they ended up taking the last 5k that he wanted to use to buy extra material he needed to make a clients dress after asking him to pay 70k and gave him two hundred naira for transport.He said before he left ,they were already harassing another guy.

Yesterday, two young men were apprehended by men of the Edo State Police Command and were accused of cyber crime and were taken into custody. While the police officers were unable to nail that accusation on them, they fabricated another offence of cultism just to instill great fear in them.

The young boys were forced to cough out the sum of N100, 000 which was initially pegged at N200, 000 for both of them following sordid tales of how innocent citizens have been framed up by some law enforcement agents for the purpose of extortion,

According to ‎Osazee Edigin‎, the police officers allegedly took the boys to an ATM to withdraw the said amount.

Unfortunately for the policemen, news got to Edo Civil Society Organisations and the Coordinator General, Comrade Omobude Agho and other comrades took it upon themselves in investigating the matter and doing justice to same. Just to cut a long story short, the Officer in Charge of the Unit at the State Police Command quickly responded and retrieved the money from the police officers that carried out the shameful act.

Report has it that this is not the first time members of EDOCSO have recovered paid bail fees.

The police will seek bribe in everything. They look for ways to taking bribes, and extorting money, from people in all things. It's really disturbing

So just like that , there won't be prosecution and persecutions,it s a big shame if it will let it go just like that. To serve as a deterrence to other they must be prosecuted.

You earn my respect guys.... I have witness how police raid student hostels on weekend and arrest all the boys using cars on campus or assumed living beyond their supposed source of income and intimidate all especially around FUTA in Akure....we just watch pitiably from afar

Same happened to me and my guy some weeks ago.
We were jejely discussing along the road when policemen packed their vehicle beside us saying that we stood at meeting point of armed robbers.
To cut the long story short,
We paid 10k to bail ourselves that night.
