nonsense teaching!!! So the entire jewish laws were abolished leaving only tithes abi? How come the apostles and the early church did not practise it? Even for you who claim tithes has not been abolished is the tithe system your churches run today anything close to the tithes practised in the bible?

We're truly at the end times. There're plenty churches I would have expected this from, this is quite disappointing coming from RCCG. The next move by these Nigerian churches would soon be to rewrite or update the bible; cos it seems like the immortal words in the bible are now a stumbling block to their man-made doctrines. They now rely solely on personal visions and revelations from wherever as their sole guide to supersede what's written in the bible. The messages they get from their visions now contradicts and supersedes the messages preached by the early Apostles who walked the earth with Jesus.

Lord have mercy on this our generation!

if Pentecostal were to have their way they will edit the bible to include this tithes in the new testament.One of the main reasons for the proliferation of churches today is tithes.Remove tithes and watch this churches collapse

Well, let everybody continues to speak openly regarding tithes but, one thing is cleared Pastor Adeboye is not making tithes compulsory heaven ticket for those who are ordinary members but make it clear to those who are pastors, ministers and church workers in RCCG to pay their tithes and be obedient in accordance with being a good examples because he(Pastor Adeboye) did pay his tight as the priest of the Mission. According to Malachi popular chapter for tithes that it is compulsory for all Priests to pay their tithes and even went ahead to call those who are not paying a robbers.

God bless you for your reasonable and wise comment. Tithe should not bring argument among we Christians. What pains me most is that we leave the most important issue of preaching the gospel while making much effort on this simple thing.

Christian ministers in 2018 should be very careful not to test God. Any pastor threatening non-Jewish Christian believers (Gentiles) with the book of Malachi 3 is simply testing God's patience and should be wary of God's wrath... Kindly go and enlighten yourself with Acts 15:10 and repent

10 Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of Gentiles a yoke that neither we nor our ancestors have been able to bear?

Pastors in 2018 have placed themselves greater than Apostle Peter (Jesus' favourite) who stood his ground in the Church council against the Pharisees and refused that the Laws of Moses (Malachi etc) be extended to Gentile believers - Acts 15:5-10

Pastors in 2018 have also now placed themselves greater than Apostle Paul (the most prolific Apostle) who instructed that new covenant believers should never be coerced to give any mandatory percentage, but rather should give freely, whatever they decided in their hearts - 2 Corinthians 9:7

What we see in the church today is truly a scary development. Christian ministers now contradicting the teachings of the Apostles on a daily basis and relying on personal visions which clearly contradicts God's word in the bible. The devil has truly infilterated the church. May God save us all!
