Common sense should tell you that if the economy was in a bad shape, it should be tanking now with the coronavirus issue as well as the oil supply dispute compounding issues, the only reason why it is holding up now is because it was in a great shape. All indices from the job market report to the consumer index report to stock exchange all showed the economy was in the greatest shape it has been in half a decade. The only reason why your dreams for a recession is not becoming a reality is because the economy is great.
