Please what is the recommended profile/address to use while registering with namesilo or any other? Will it be a disadvantage to use local address and as an individual while registering? Can one register as an individual and not as a corporate entity? Which domain registrars can u recommend for a starter?

don't change the nameserver, go on with the listing it so not compulsory to change the nameserver.Hope it helps
