Mention one country that price of things keep going down. You guys better wake up to realities
But both price and quality service should be going up. We can't keep paying high price for low quality

However, speaking at a press conference in Lagos yesterday, the President of the Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria (ATCON), Mr. Olusola Teniola, said the implementation of the levy is ill-timed, considering the fact that the telecom operators are currently battling with multiple taxation, which has risen from 26 in 2015 to 38 under the current administration.
Tax Tax Tax! That's what this government and it's useless finance minister knows. They've even imposed special taxes on beer and alcohol in general that people use forgetting their sorrows.
What have they done with all the money they are making from crude oil and multiple taxations?

How significant is 0.005%
Lets assume that the annual turn over balance of most operators as domiciled with bank is about N15,000,000,000.
0.005% which is 0.00005 x N15b, is it something that those stingy operators won't be able to pay, that they want their subscribers to bear the brunt?
did you read the part where they said they are already battling multiple taxation which has risen from 26-38 under this useless administration?

I like when people can think outside the box, some ediots have not been able to pull their heads out of Jonathan's arse , they think this is Buhari's fault as well

Nigerians should rise up against these mafias running things in this country

there's fuel mafia, network mafia , literally everything in this country is run by mafia , boycotting is the first step towards getting it back

Do u know how much these companies already pay for tax? Do u know they spend trillion on fueling their power plants to generate electricity? They have equipments to maintain, they have staff to pay.

I do feel for these companies.. Nigeria is not business friendly and that is why u don't have companies coming in and staying for that long..

Its part of the grand design of this vile and evil government to muzzle people and keep as many people as possible offline for the 2019 election.
Lately they have been very unhappy over the multiple embarrassments they have been subjected to and this is part of the plan to shut as many people as possible up, but it must fail because the will of the people must always prevail. Useless dictators.

Add that sum to the cost of their diesel and other recurrent expenses. If they are running on PHCN now, that will be a different ball game. Sometimes I pity them

I am praying we at least get one thing right in this country for once.

Even with the crappy network from these guys they still have the guts to talk about increase in price of data.

Everything still boils down to wrong choices, decisions, bad governance of our leaders
