Billionaire businesswoman, Mrs. Folorunsho Alakija, appeared on Thursday before the Lagos State in Ikeja to testify against one Vincent Ayewah, who allegedly defrauded her foundation, Rose of Sharon Foundation, of N3m.
Ayewah, an employee of Rose of Sharon Foundation, is being prosecuted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission before Justice Hakeem Oshodi.

Standing trial ith him are his two siblings – Florence and Emmanuel – and four others, namely: Onuwa David, Okoronkwo Chikadibia, Ehizibolo George and Chinyere Awanah.

At the Thursday’s proceedings, billionaire Alakija mounted the witness box and narrated to the court how the defendants allegedly defrauded her foundation.

Led in evidence by the EFCC prosecutor, M.D. Aliyu, Alakija told the court that following the alleged fraud, Ayewah began to lead a lavish lifestyle and bought a car, which he was parking “far away from the office premises to avoid detection.”
