Malian boy Mr. Gassama who saved a childʼs life off a four-storey building has joined fire fighters in France. He has started training. However Malian president has asked him to come back to Mali because the government has found him a new job in the army.

Should the 'Spider-man' leave his newly acquired citizenship (France) for the Malian army or he should pursue his new job in France?

African leaders are the same all over. Most of them need their heads to be examined. This president had to wait until this man save a French boy before he can be offered a job in Mali. angry

The same thing would have happened in Nigeria. Just do something newsworthy in the Western world, people at home will turn you into a god they never made you before you left the country.

Lol..... Mali gov't dey funny - Job in the army..... lol

But the French are wicked - what kind of training are they subjecting him too?

The bush man doesn't seem to know its not normal.

Give him a job in the office - instead of some sort of rescue Spiderman.

That's a country that encourages every good work.

Not the situation of the female Airport staff that found millions in the rest room and returned it but was not given a kobo.

What kind of blessing is this

The president should not have made the job offer public.
He just want to let the world know the guy is not patriotic.

Very good. A place where lives are sacred, a place where things work.

O God! It's well with my country o.

It's not just about the goodies the guy is receiving, it's about the way life is valued over there.

I know the guy will never consider the Mali offer. Let them pass the offer to the next jobless person in Mali there. www.nairaland.com/1798724/

When he has a job that can ensure a stable family life in a civilised society and city, you want him to become a soldier in the army that will post him from one jungle to another with a pittance as salary?
