A have a B.sc in one of the environmental courses and i will like to switch to any civil engineering option is that possible without post graduate diploma?

You don't have a background of engineering hence you might be asked to do postgraduate diploma in engineering before proceeding. However universities and department varies

I'm an environmentalist, I have a strong passion for mechanical engineering. But I'd advice you stick to Environmental based course.

Why not take an MSc in Environmental management or an MBA?

You have to go for PGD in Civil Engineering before masters.

BEng in mech eng. but hoping in the nearest future to do MSc in accounting, economics or banking & finance (the courses that align closest with my passion) ......is it possible to switch like that from a professional course?

2ndly, i understand if I have to do PGD to switch in Nigeria here. But if i plan to do my masters abroad, (like Canada for example) does it follow the same process over there??

3rdly, is it possible to run a pgd in d course I'm switching to, in 9ja here, n do the masters' abroad?


(NB not done any research on this for now, because its still an "indefinite" future plan n hope for me)
