Canada is the northernmost country of the Americas, and shares North America and the English (and French) language with the USA. It is made up of ten provinces and three territories, and it extends from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean, as well as northward to the Arctic Ocean. In terms of area it is the second largest country in the world, with a total landmass of 9.98 million km2, behind only Russia. Canada is the northernmost country of the Americas, and shares North America and the English (and Canada borders just one country – the United States, and not surprisingly, these nations share the world’s longest bi-national land border, officially known as the International Boundary, which totals some 8,891 km.

While the majority of Canada has a cold climate (rising to severely cold during the winter, with temperatures in Edmonton and Calgary for example regularly dropping to -40) the south of the country enjoys relatively warm summers. Considering its vast size, Canada is relatively under populated (35 million) and the majority of its citizens live in its large cities and towns, many of which border the US. Indeed, a third of Canada’s population is located in its three largest cities/metropolitan areas, Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. Other highly-populated urban areas include Calgary, Edmonton, Quebec City, Winnipeg, Hamilton and the nation’s capital, Ottawa.

Geographically Canada is dominated by forests and mountainous regions, famously the legendary Rocky Mountains . It is a nation of breathtaking beauty, and home to an abundance of wildlife including bear, bison, beaver, lynx, wolf, cougar and whale. Canada is keen to protect its wildlife, and has many National Parks and National Wildlife Areas.

Canadian Economy
Canada has the tenth largest economy in the world and is one of the world’s wealthiest nations. It is a member of both the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the highly exclusive Group of Seven (G7). An indication of Canada’s international standing is that the other G7 nations are France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom and the United States, and between them they represent 65% of the world’s wealth, estimated at some $263 trillion.

Like most highly developed nations, Canada’s economy is dominated by its service industry which employs around 70% of the country’s 19 million-strong work force. Canada’s other major industries include oil, logging/forestry (largest in the world), fishing and seafood (8th largest in the world), manufacturing, agriculture, tourism, automobile/aircraft manufacture and increasingly, software.

Canada’s Immigrant Investor Visa program has also proved to be a lucrative addition to the nation’s economy, largely due to the influx of wealthy Chinese investors that have made Canada their preferred nation for second citizenship. Specifically, the southern city of Vancouver is the no.1 target for Chinese investors entering Canada. In little more than a decade, more than 100,000 Chinese have purchased expensive, prime real estate in Vancouver, with tens of thousands more on the waiting list.

Though it differs from province to province, going by the prevailing exchange rate it's a minimum of 75 Million Naira.

The program is for multi millionaires.

For roughly half that, you can get citizenship or PR in several Caribbean countries.
